Please try to change ozml version as 5.13 and display version as 5.6.1, If it doesn't work otherwise, try to open it in apple motion and look for the missing generators and simply delete it. It should work in most cases. Try and let me know. :)

@@bouncybrain thanks for your response. I right clicked on the transition and chose reveal in finder. that took me straight to the file stored in motion. did all the changes as directed in text, saved, exited and then closed fcp and restarted. nope, no luck
The name of the plugin is mCallouts Simple 2, I was only able to make it work by emulating FCP with ROSETTA. Emulating FCP on the computer loses a lot of processing power.

I tried opening the same effect (FCPX Stabilizer 2.0) in Motion, and it says I'm missing filters and a generator. The filters that are missing are RZ, P&S, Kaleidotile, PFS Auto Tracker. The generator that's missing is PFSInstruction_Local. Do you have an idea of what's going on with this effect? Or is the newest update of FCPX 10.6.3 have some bugs and issues with running these effects? Thank you!
Just simply delete that missing generator and see. It works at times. You need to do this, open the effects in FCP first and then open the same effect in motion and delete the missing generator and save it right there. It should reflect in FCP directly. (Please keep a copy of your original effects). basically these are third party plugin effects, so if there is a FCP update, these guys should update the plugin if it doesn't work with the latest one. Most of the third party serious teams do update. Anyways try my trick. Hope it helps. :-)
color finale is totally a different bundle, you should check with them for any update, or you need to individually try and open them in apple motion directly, I doubt.
I just couldn't get past the music. Please don't use background music next time. Too much chaos trying to focus on your words and having "whistling guy" in the background. Had to find a diff video to learn this.

Can you PLEASE get rid of the music that makes it very hard to understand your voice? You are talking very silent already through a microphone that dulls down your voice, and then this music makes it a real pain to follow the video.
Have 10.6.1 and it doesn't work for me. So its safe to say if you have anything over 10.6 this method is not going to work. Guess thats what I get for upgrading.lol
@@zhincic open the file in apple motion. It would say utility missing generator while opening, say ok and when it opened in motion, u would find "utility" under "OSC" group on project, simple delete the utility and save the file and it should work now.
