Thank you for all the sales for Black Friday! Just wanted to let you know, Deschutes is pronounced De-Chutes. I moved from South Florida up to the PNW and they definitely have lots of names that can be troublesome to pronounce.
I appreciate that, as I joke that English is my second language and, sadly, my only language. I love math and married an English major, but she only makes fun of me. I do like that beer as it is very nice and very drinkable.
Awesome! If you don't mind, what kits? I'll then ask if you'd be able to give me your feedback on them after you brew them. 🍻 I am still shocked at just how good that COLD IPA was as I expected it to be good, but not my go to beer for several months.
Thanks for the timely updates. I'm still holding out for a Brewzilla sale. All I have to do is hit "pay" on my cart. Maybe on the real black Friday this week?
Actually, you might still have some luck, as I was thinking about that this morning. MoreBeer! has announced all but one of the sales they had mentioned they would be hosting this year. So, in my mind, I see the "Flash Brewing" kits going on sale for 25% off tomorrow, but that leaves The actual Black Friday the 29th, the weekend, and Cyber Monday. Historically, most Brewing Equipment/Brewing Supply companies have their biggest discounts on the 29th, with Cyber Monday being a very modest sale or a few select items.
Hopefully,, you get this before they sell out, but I just noticed that MoreBeer! Just dropped the price on 1500 items, including the Brewzilla 35L, 65L, and 100L-220 v systems. If they do sell out, I would expect the same at Williams Brewing, but not until 12:01 (I'm not sure which time zone). Don't forget to snag the Neoprene Jacket and Heat Exchanger as Kee from Kegland said these were kind of necessities for those units. (There was a strange flow pattern with the 4.x version that the heat exchanger helped to resolve.) My big issue is that if both of those are necessities, they should be included with the product. Good Luck! Working on a video to announce it. (Also, the necessities are on sale too.) The 35L 220v is $90 off, which the best it has been in 2 years. I do think the sale 2 years ago was slightly better, bringing it under the $500 mark, but still pretty decent.
@@BitterRealityBrewing I just logged in this morning and I see the same price for the 110V 35L combo pack at $650. This has been reduced from $682 for a long time. The deal is on the accessories, not the kettle. I still see the kettle only holding steady at $600. My local brew supply store has had a gen 4 on the floor since this summer for the same price. No deals yet, at least I didn't see anything. I did refresh to make sure but nothing. 😒
@@Mgrant8163 The 220v went down from $599 to $ 509, but the 110v looked out of stock. They always put the 110v version on sale, but the 220v has yet to be marked down since back in 2022. I actually purchased one of the 220v Gen 4.1 this time, just for the channel to do videos and comparisons, as I know there are a lot of home brewers out there using the Brewzilla, too. William's Brewing was also showing out of stock. Maybe Kegland had some shipping delays to their resellers with the 110v, which, hopefully, when it is back in stock, they would do a better sale before the Xmas season. I'm not expecting a version 5.x in 2025 due to the recent minor upgrade from 4 to 4.1 being a rather recent change.
