Now that's my idea of a cherry cobbler! I like that you didn't add extra sugar. Butter at the bottom, then Bisquick with Almond flavoring and cherries poured in.
It's almost magical how the crust engulfs the cherries and rises so crispy and brown in the oven. Love it. I will have to check out your Lasagna recipe too. Thank you Cathy! 🤗🤗🤗

hands down the best recip. I've done it in peach and cherry and everyone loves it. I've added cinnamon or whiskey and now my grown kids ask for the recipe. so I just send them your video.

When I saw the Bisquick I knew this lady would make a good cherry cobbler and she knew what she was doing. My late grandmother and my late dear Mother always had a box of Bisquick when they were baking and they were the best, so I knew this recipe was working. Good job.. Thank you...

Thank you for the kind words! I learned a lot from my mom. She loved Bisquick and so do I! I also make my dumpling with Bisquick! So good!

@@CathySue911 check this out, anything made with apples I pretty much shy away from and it's not that I don't like apples because I actually love apples the Apple itself in its purest form. I don't like apple pie, apple cobbler, Apple streusel, Apple sauce, just the Apple itself. But my mother made apple dumplings and it was delicious. I often would ask her to make me some apple dumplings, the only thing other than the Apple itself that had Apple in it that I would eat. I don't know, maybe it was because it had some of my favorite things in it like brown sugar and cinnamon and she made this homemade caramel sauce to pour over it. Yummy 😋. I wish I had the recipe but I don't because the recipe was in her memory. I tell you I really miss my mother and her good home cooking.. I'll tune in for the dumplings. Thank you Cathy W. Bake on...

Cathy thanks for this simple recipe! I made my cobbler with apple pie filling and I sprinkled some cinnamon sugar in the batter and sprinkled some over the top. It’s still in the oven but smells 🤤 yum!

Hi Cathy... I was in an automobile accident 2 years ago. I spent over a year in a hospital bed in my living room. ( joy, joy)
I used to cook all the time.
I have just recently started cooking again... I was frustrated trying to make all the desserts I made before because I should have started back into it slower and simpler. Lol
I am getting ready to make your cobbler... thanks for helping a slow poke out. :):):)

Just mix baking soda with baking powder to gold medal or King Arthur any flour sift it in and pretend it's Bisquick.
