My experience at entebbe last year January, i proved and verified its the oppressors vs the oppressed. Despite having all the required legal snd health documents on arrival i was detained for 7hrs with other 4 ladies bambi who were forced to leave the gulf coz of the working conditions but still on arrival they demanded 100 dollars from each for covid test. Now coz i refused to pay these 100 dollars, they all said they weren't going to pay coz me i knew it was illegal. But few of the moments that caught attention was ; 1.one of the ladies cried saying, if she had capability at that moment in time she would burn the airport to ashes 2.when one of those who were asking 4 the 100 dollars, told me with how i was dressed how do i fail to avail 100 dollars 3.among themselves, there were group who didn't agree with what was going on 4. One of the military guards there told me, if tried to make commotion i wld be arrested and press a treason case on me ehhh i was speechless 🤔🤔. I came to conclude that uganda isn't governed by a government but families, friends and in-laws, lastly we were released around 1am after the defiance but time was lost and vacation all disappeared!!!!
Madam there is no justification to corruption........it is better they put up a notice with all the list of requirements of what a person needs to have in possession to use their stupid airport.

It's true immigration guys are really bad at the airport and they do it intentionally and they coordinate coz even if u go to another line, the other person asks u why didn't u get stamped and when u answer he tells u do what he told u can't work on u. U have residence visa but the immigration guy tells u go get labour letter and l told him but l have residence visa dot need labour letter but remember u came there like four and u all dot have labour letter but they passed try explaining to him he will tell u do what l have asked u or leave the flight to go. Now there his asking for money indirectly.
