Cool tip: When cutting onions you can wet a paper towel and place it on your cutting board to help with the crying! Onion fumes go to the nearest water source so if you just put a closer source of water other than your eyes then it helps with the crying! 😊

For the peppers you take them out and put them in a bowl covered with cling film. The steam loosens the skins and makes it a million times easier to peel the skin. You can also use a food processor to blend you food if you don't own a blender. Also you have to salt your eggplant and cover it with paper towel and sandwich it between two cookie sheets. It helps take out the moisture and they cook better. Just a few helpful hints. Great job Mia as always.

The sous chef is like the head chef’s right hand man. Does a lot. Though I’m sure they could do sauces as well. The saucier focuses on sauces though.

Hey Mia, onion tip! When chopping onions, keep a damp/wet paper towel next to the chopping board! Then the chemical released will go to the paper towel and not your eyes. Boom- no more crying!

A advice when removing the skin from peppers. Put them in a plastic bag after you have had them in the oven and leave them for a few minutes, then it is easier to remove the skin. :-)

the red thing is called a mandoline. also if you put a piece of wet papertowel on a cutting board when youre cutting an onion, it helps with eyes watering. i saw it on tik tok and tried it ( i work in a kitchen) and it works pretty well.

Honestly, I attempted to make ratatouille myself about a year or two ago. I absolutely messed up the sauce and it turned out terrible (too much garlic, perhaps). But after watching your video, I might re-attempt it and make a better sauce this time around. Thank you, Mia!
