This is something I ran across on a page not too long ago that was helpful to me to pay attention to, and I think that it may be something that can relate to the topic that Joyce is teaching about:
"What is it called when you help someone too much?
A savior complex, or white knight syndrome, describes this need to “save” people by fixing their problems. If you have a savior complex, you might: only feel good about yourself when helping someone. believe helping others is your purpose. expend so much energy trying to fix others that you end up burning out."

People will do anything to get someone to meet their needs! Its sickening to see someone who won't help themselves or do all they can, looking to you to do it. No people pleasing here! No danger.

I have heard Joyce Meyer say many good things from God's word that seem to line up with what the spirit has revealed. And here she is right on. One of the best sermons I have heard in my 58 years of life and I have heard many. 💜

Oh boy my father was so similar Joyce. We all walked on eggshells. I had a similar background. My father also tried to terrorize me. I have PTSD would like to not recollect bad memories 😢. However, God has always been there with me from my younger years on.

Getting emotional watching this... 😢Its so tough, i truly wish i can change who i am, i only want peace & some see it as a weakness; hence their aggression that grows louder or force their opinion on you. Sad how some think being rude to get their point across will make a difference...Learn to be respectful, kind and humble to all you share differences with.🧡

Our value and worth are not in what we do, but in who we are in Christ. Your worth and identity are established in God's heart and recorded in His Word. Check out Joyce's online study, Authentically, Uniquely You at bit.ly/3BXVWIH. We pray it is a blessing to you! -Team JMM

So your relationship advice is to silence your voice and identity. Not get to know your partner and what their values are.. this is scary dangerous.. before ever getting married you should understand your partners values and if you don't have common values a relationship will probably not be successful...
