Bobby Hamilton sr should be on that list. What he accomplished is pretty incredible. But since he's not a big name, he will never be recognized.

Are you high? He had 15 wins across all 3 series he did have a truck championship he's no where near Hall Of Fame level
I don't understand how average Joes seem to be experts on what is and isn't Hall of Fame worthy. That is all dependent on how exclusive an individual Hall of Fame chooses to be. I personally would be glad to see guys like Hamilton, Sterling Marlin, Ernie Irvan, Geoff Bodine, Ken Schrader, etc get in. Unfortunately with the new 2+1 method it's gonna take a while for drivers like that to be considered.

This is an interesting nomination class. I think we’re gonna start to see now a precedent for what the qualifications are for HOF, if I may be so candid, on the minimum side. I know NFL has been dealing with these questions this year, but with how many fewer competitors you see in NASCAR compared to other sports, that conversation is coming much more quickly here

I’m sure some people will say that Dale Jr. doesn’t deserve to be in the HOF but look at his stats. 2 Xfinity championships, 2 Daytona 500 wins, and 26 overall cup wins. Those are HOF stats if you ask me.

I like Jeff Burton, but how does he stack up to other drivers in the HoF. It’s kind of a joke. I am happy for him and his family for sure, it is an incredible honor. But being in the HoF I just don’t see it.
