I love this form of skating so much. the style the creativity the rawness. I love how everybody is skating for themselves and not smothered in monster energy hats and that competition snobbery. I love the shit they like to skate too, new York has some challenging spots you have no choice but to be creative. sometimes ill flip a trash can over at my skatepark and skate it but everyone thinks its lame. if anyone in dallas tx loves ny skateboarding let me know this city is killing me

The day I feared the most has come. I wished I would never see the day when LurkNYC switch to HD. For the first time I couldn't watch through the whole video and had to quit it. All the flavor is gone. It looks blank now, just like any other video, just with different environment and different faces. Sad.

What about the composure of his shots? I feel his choice of angles and method of filming makes the video interesting. HD or VX I think his videos are phenomenal. He has a very interesting and fun to watch choice of shot/zoom and subject choice and what not. I personally feel he does HD justice in a world where it all ends up looking the same.
