I used to have this movie on VHS which I've managed to put onto a dvd. It's soooo good. Fiona was such an underrated performer who deserved a lot more acclaim than she got.
Oh man! The first song of her I ever listened to (actively) just now. I recently saw her in Miami Vice as the little Miss Jackie and what can say.. A real nice song, she has a very strong wonderful voice! It's like a shame I just learned to know her recently, thx to Miami Vice and thx to Fiona for her performances. A very underrated great singer I can say after this song imo (and a very great actor, I only know from MV). And real, no joke she has the cutest 'ever' face I saw recently, very nice hair in a typical 80's way and a very nice body. Excited what else I will find about her!! Thanks for the upload
I remember her song with Kip Winger and that's it until 2 weeks ago when I came upon this one ....been listening the heck out of it ...Love it! Comparable to Man In Motion (St.Elmos Fire) Great movie theme 👍
Jesussss Christ :o Look this face at 0.14! So cuuute! Wish l could have lived in the middle of the 80's and see some pretty girls with this kind of hair! Hard Rock foreverrrrrr!
Fiona, where have you been? I met Fiona (Flanagan) back in the '80s when her 1st Atlantic album came out. I worked for Atlantic's distribution company, WEA, part of the Warner Music Group. She was such a charming person. (If charm could equal radio airplay, she'd be a superstar.) Also got to see her perform at a Boston club. OK, her's isn't exactly my favorite kind of music, but she was an excellent performer who owned the stage.
Tell the tale Tell the lie Of the way it used to be Till the words that once came easy Are comin' back at me Is there any place That really feels like home Do I go there all alone I know you're never gonna leave me Just a look, and the years take flight It's clear, through I deny this desire So, the memories burn In these hearts of fire Run my fingers through my hair Cry a million tears An walk for miles Just walkin' in walls And wishin' you were here Till I don't remember why I try When I'm standing in the light I know you're never gonna leave me Just a look, and the years take flight It's clear, through I deny this desire So, the memories burn In these hearts of fire Come so far but at what cost Was it ever love if the labor's lost? But I remember and I still believe You're never gonna leave me Just a look, and the years take flight It's clear, through I deny this desire So, the memories burn In these hearts of fire You're never gonna leave me Just a look, and the years take flight It's clear, through I deny this desire Oh, the memories burn In these hearts of fire In these hearts of fire In these hearts of fire In these hearts of fire In these hearts of fire
treefrog, I finally managed to get a copy of the movie!! Yay! after 5 long years of looking for it and whining over my broken vhs! :o) and still loving it.
Wait, I'll bet I have seen this movie 10 times. I can't recall ever noticing Ronnie Wood in the film. How did I miss him? Yet, there he is around 1:50.
i m a huge fan of old rock, glam metal...and just today i know fiona... instantly she became my crush,, she is so sexy, beautiful. i just liked her so so so much
Bianca, she does have more songs: the whole Hearts Of Fire soundtrack is chock full of her, she had about 4 albums that are available online, & did a song for the movie NO SMALL AFFAIR!! Enjoy!
FIONA cantas muy bien! Te vi por primera vez en un capítulo de Miami Vice y ahora compruebo que además de interpretar cantas de maravilla! Bonita canción ...
Fiona, my husband said he was your prom date. His name is Robert Dorrance. He is so handsome and always has been. We have been married for almost 24 years. He said he is so proud of you. I really like your music! Hope you respond.
You’re never gonna leave me Just a look and the years take flight It’s clear though I deny this desire Oh the memories in these hearts of fire In these hearts of fire In these hearts of fire Thank you to the member of the Fiona Flanagan Appreciation Society on Facebook for giving this to me
I remember Fiona playing at a club here in New Jersey. I think she was ultra sexy and BTW barely legal. The year was 1977 and we played Friday nights and Fiona played Saturday. Imagine her showing up in a Catholic girl outfit and moving her hands up and down her legs like Maria Muldaur. We went nuts. She was gorgeous, and still is!
I remember Fiona playing at Gasoline Alley in Berkeley Heights, NJ in the late 70's.... we would yap in the Ladies room while she put on her makeup. Such a beautiful and talented woman.....
@hardsixteenyeah You are welcome. Ya it's a shame she didn't get the national fame and recognition she deserved. She still has lots of fans and is singing for fun and charity and working on a CD.
Listening to this makes me painfully aware how the music industry got simplified along with an obvious degradation. Not to take away from some of today's artists who are by all means talented individuals, but the industry dictates its guidlines and they follow along. Most of todays music is complete and uter trash compared to those 80's hits. Not to mention the degrading aspects of contemporary tunes where the lyrics revert often entirely around fowel language and sexual themes and themes of criminal behaviour that are openly meant to increase the animal drives of the young generation listening to them along with presenting criminal mentality and behaviour in a positive light. This has a very deliberate stench to it and it is very sad. I wish the 80's would never go away.

Run my fingers through my hair Cry a million tears And walk for miles Just walking walls and wishing you were here Til I don’t remember why I try When I’m standing in the lights I know you’re never gonna leave me Just a look and the years take flight It’s clear though I deny this desire Cause Oh the memories burn in these hearts of fire
What the hell am I looking at? Dylan? Ronnie Wood? I was alive then, and don't remember this song, or a movie titled the same. I don't even recall this singer. Cool 80's feel.
Fiona is one of the most gorgrous women in my lifetime. There's just something unique about her looks.
I used to have this movie on VHS which I've managed to put onto a dvd. It's soooo good. Fiona was such an underrated performer who deserved a lot more acclaim than she got.
So right.

Cause Oh the memories burn in these hearts of fire
1:50 Is that Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones? Looks like him.
Oh yes and someone was kind enough to give the website to see the words. Problem is the words in the bridge don't make sense.

What the hell am I looking at? Dylan? Ronnie Wood? I was alive then, and don't remember this song, or a movie titled the same. I don't even recall this singer. Cool 80's feel.

That drummer creeps me out - Bob is cute here!
@treefrog8 Fiona has a new cd coming out in 2011... spread the word.
Wow I never noticed this in all the years that I've been familiar with Fiona but she resembles Natasha Richardson (RIP) big time.
