I swear Cold War was one my favourite looking/playing cods it’s plays super smooth and looks pretty , the maps are good and the guns are satisfying and the snipers are the best we’ve gotten in over 7 years
MWIII snipers are way better. Stalker, MORS, Kar98 and even the MWII bolt action sniper are all great and super strong in a slow TTK game. They ADS faster than the Cold War snipers

Might be a hot take, but this is my proposed Camo grind methodology. 1. No Camos for the guns until you’ve max leveled the gun. Allows for longer feeling of progression. 2. Once you’ve maxed a gun out, you get access to gun camos and the challenge is ONLY kills. Not a specific type of kill or stupid mechanics. 3. Mastery camos follow the process they’ve been following (platinum for a full class, and then mastery camos for all classes). To encourage players to go for camos, the grind process shouldn’t force the players to play a certain way. The only thing it should require is that you are using specific weapons the WAY YOU WANT TO PLAY.

Cold war was honestly the only cod that mattered to me the last 5 years. Modern warfare reboot series and Vanguard were absolute jokes of gaming. Activision should be ashamed of their quality output, scummy marketing and eomm practices
I liked MW2019, but I was in highschool at the time. I had a lot of time to waste that I don't have anymore, so I don't play games that don't respect my time.
The stream lined version isn't bad. I do think maybe having one "hard" challenge would be good. No tedious, dumb challenges like kill enemies through walls, mounted kills, or penetration kills. However, with the new corner leaning mechanic I bet there will be a challenge like that lol.
I’m also curious with the OMNIMOVEMENT, if you slide in a direction are you going to have a huge accuracy penalty when you shoot? Are you going to have bloom? Or are your weapons still going to be laser accurate?? I guess we’ll find out at cod NEXT👀
Your experience coming back to coldwar was better than mine, I got straight up spawn killed by cheaters 3 games in a row and said f it. I plan on finishing the last 2 guns I don't have Tue zombies mastery for tho before the new one comes out!
Cold War is probably in my top 3 Call Of Duty's. Loved that game only problem was it didn't release with enough maps. Then right when it started getting good Valorant came out and they quit adding to it.
Omni movement will be the next threshold for skilled players to flat out cracked. For us with the reaction time, and clean movement this will only make us even harder to hit. Going full max Payne on a player base that relies so heavily on short cuts. It will help to expose real players from the fake.
Jev, have you looked into Playing this game called Escape From Tarkov. It’s a FPS PVP Extraction Looter Survival Game. You would be a really good player. There’s even a PVE mode
Being able to slide and dolphin dive in any direction is not really gonna change the game that much it just means if you slide around the corner, you’ll just be already aimed in which is not that big of a deal
well i doesnt take much to stop ppl from camp but also, how is movement that has never been seen in cod history not a big deal, we really just gotta see how the game is first tho

Bro I’ve been playing Cold War with my gf and that is the game we seem to gravitate towards more than any other cod game. This game is beautifully made
CW had arguably THE BEST Zombies I've ever seen in any COD thus far. Yes, including BO3. We had a ton of different maps to choose from, round-based, but you could upgrade your guns even more than usual, you could take your own guns into zombies, not to mention you actually had a choice between normal round based, openworld like the shit we have now, or endless round based (my personal favorite)
Cold War had one of the worst zombies imo. BO1, 2, 3, and 4 are all more fun than Cold War zombies. Cold War zombies had very little personality, no soul, the operator system was boring, maps were boring, story was boring, etc
The New Black Ops 6 will be another DLC because they are letting you use operator skins already which means the operators and previous skins will roll over like last time. (Yall have been playing COD for over 13yrs and still act like they dont know their business model. Rinse and repeat)
Best COD in recent history and it’s not even close. The gunplay actually feels like COD, unlike the new ones where the recoil causes your gun to sway across the entire screen. Sure there was the new mechanic of sliding, but it didn’t turn it into a new game. Not a fan of tac sprint but I’m looking forward to what is hopefully a second Cold War.

Also piccadilly, ahzir cave and st petrogard.💁♂ Without warzone mw19 would have globaly dethroned ghosts as the worst cod ever made.
Camo grinding is the main reason why I play multiplayer so I would love a more harder grind than MW3 but not too repetitive like cold war where I'm unlocking the same camos over and over for each gun. So I'll take MW3 camo grind but either 5 or 6 camos to unlock or more of the requirement kills to unlock them
I feel like this is one of the only recent Call of Duty titles that is even close to the classic run n gun style that I'm used to I guess that's why this is the last one I purchased

The coversation of Omni-Movement and Slide-Cancel, if it gives a penalty for attempting it i am expecting it to act like: Slide forward and when trying to cancel, fall backwards and vision goes blurry and look upwards, when out of it, stay prone but have low hip fire for 2-3 sec. when staying prone.
I hope the camo grind is the same as the last two years the old war was just too grindy which I’ve completed but it feel fun to get the camos passively like mw2 and mw3!

MWIII isn’t bad. It promotes movement and actually getting the jump on people. The SBMM and EOMM takes away from it tho
