    Loved the video! I just ordered a Neon Hook 6, I love the colours! I learned PPG on a Niviuk link 2 and progressed to the Qubik. Excited to get back into pure paragliding, gonna be breaking the hook 6 in with a progression+SIV course in Bali, so excited! Thanks again for the video, im from the UK originally, your sites look fantastic and you seem like a rly good bunch, would love to stop by next time I visit the UK!

    Great video Marc and review on the wing. It looks a cracking piece of kit. So good to see yourself and Sian back on the hill even it was a touch chilly. Keep the videos coming. 👍😀

    It's a bit of a stretch to call Sian a beginner in any way. With seven years experience and all the hours she must fly I would call her a veteran.

    • @leavesleyaviation

      Hehe you are correct really but don't tell her she's a veteran she will want paying more.

    Brilliant video! Do you have a feel for glide / penetration with the Hook 6? Sounds like a safe and fun wing!

      Glide is very good and on bar is solid, they have been our best sellers this year so far.

      The Hook6 does look amazing. How would you compare it to the Ion7 as a first glider post CP? Looking to purchase fairly soon.

    • @leavesleyaviation

      It would be unfair for me to say because I have not flown the ion7 Chris but no pilot would be unhappy with the Hook 6, you can always come try mine if your local?@@christimson

    I am thinking of buying niviuk hook 6, my body weight is 100-102kg, the seller's recommendation is 110-130kg wing, I am thinking of choosing 95-120kg, the total weight of the harness and spare parachute is 7kg, it will be 107kg with my body, I think clothing and other equipment is 5kg , total weight will be 112-113kg. What is your suggestion? (I'm just getting started)

    Excellent mate, do you know what the trim speed is for the Hook 6? I'm currently flying the Hook 5 and it's trim speed is 23 mph on glide, curious if the 6 is any faster. Cheers!

    I am on the market for a new wing and I am interested in a niviuk hook 6p.i am still in school and have 15 flights now in the mountains. In the end I like hike and fly. Did you test the p version?

    • @leavesleyaviation

      Yes I actually sold 2 last month for my students so I test flew theres.
      Amazing wing and sooo easy to launch, I can do you a great price also as we are the main dealer in UK.

    Just curious, is there any reason other than durability that would make you choose a hook 6 vs a hook 6p?

    • @leavesleyaviation

      Yes you’re spot on really, they are more delicate so you must take more care of them but they do launch very easy when the wind is low or even back wind, My new wing is lightweight (advance theta uls) and I love it a lot, “But” in high winds they are harder to keep down on the ground 😉 so all depends on your skill level, hope that helps.🙏🪂

    • @Jaytonic3

      @@leavesleyaviation thanks for the feedback! I was wondering if that was the only downside. I'm really interested by the theta uls too, how does it compare to the hook?

    • @leavesleyaviation

      @@Jaytonic3 Well I have sold more Hook’s because they have been out longer but all my mates totally love them, I have done 3 hours on my theta while I have been here in annecy and love it but to be honest all wings these days are fantastic, advance have always been the top dogs in many peoples eyes and mine too, the quality is second to none but Niviuk are also fantastic to deal with and fly, it’s almost down to what suits your wallet best.
      Pm me and I will sort you out as you’re a subscriber.

    • @Jaytonic3

      @@leavesleyaviation my biggest interest for the theta uls is their slightly different. But it seems more mid B than low B? I tested an arak air, which I didn't like, too much energy and too much transmission

    • @leavesleyaviation

      @@Jaytonic3 Yes totally agree and the white that I have looks so cool 😂 funny you say that about being a high B because I find it very very easy to fly and have said to sian she should get one, I would not want her on a spicy wing.

    • @leavesleyaviation

      To be honest I think this day and age they are all very close / good. it's almost down to what you like the look of and maybe what manufacturer weight range suits you best. I personally love Niviuk and advance.
