@@garyz2043 I from Wales and when I was young I got lost making my way home from top of the valleys, it was dark and ended up in the wrong valley. I went into a police station for help. They didn't believe me. The police officer thought I was messing with him . 😳

100% agree with the Ricky Gervais animated show podcast. The three of them together are Gold. I’m Australian and our humour is very similar to the Brits and Americans.

I am very new to your chanel and I must say I just like your way of reacting. Its not the 'over'reaction you see so often, you just stay the person you are while reacting. I love it. Please keep up reacting. I enjoyed this episode. Felt like I was genuinely watching this with a mate and not with a foreign person.

Classed as an idiot. .but he's Definately NO idiot... He merely says aloud what many of us are thinking...and that's what makes him so hilariously funny..and a hero! Lol

My wife went to China to walk the Great Wall, and ate fried scorpions and insects. I’d be like Karl and stick with Monster Munch.
Thing is I don't believe Karl is an idiot, far from it - he's different from the majority but in a really lovely unaffected and natural way. He's clear on his likes and dislikes, loves his home comforts and he thinks a great deal. There's a song, which I believe Paul McCartney wrote, called Fool on the Hill; everyone thought he was an idiot (or a fool), but whilst they were going in circles living their lives he, the fool on the hill, was watching the people, watching the sun go down. Karl's a natural and he's very funny, though he doesn't set out to be funny.
Please do all the episodes 😅 they're all brilliant and season 2 is even better 🤣😉

I love this! I can watch this show over and over again. It’s soooo funny. He has a simplistic childlike outlook on things. I wish you’d posted more episodes. A highlight for me is where they get him to stand on top of a plane while it’s flying..Hope you got to see all the episodes.
That one looked more dangerous than the bungee jumping! I was really worried about him then

If you could watch life’s too short with Warwick Davis, Ricky Gervais (no silent s he is not french), and Steve merchant, this is my laugh out loud comedy. Warwick lives near by to me and often attends local meetings, events.

Another funny show to watch from BBC is called CUNK ON BRITAIN. You will get to learn so much about British history, but the presenter is a character called Philomena Cunk (played by the amazing Diane Morgan) who is a bit dumb, in a very dry, British way. And all the historians she interviews are in on it. Kind of like a female Ali G. Very silly but informative!! :p

I went to Hong Kong (didn't get to visit China), I had frogs stuffed with glutinous rice. They were nice but the best thing was the tea eggs. Changed my life🤤

Seems like forever ago but at a place I used to work (in the US) we had an “Idiot Abroad Club” and once a week a bunch of us would meet up in the IT room at lunch to watch an episode of the show. We’d all bring a dish to share or order lunch in. Idk where the IT guy got the British version of the show, but we’d watch it on the projector with the lights off. We would laugh so loud a couple of times we got in trouble. Looked forward to those days as it was a terrible place to work.

"An Idiot Abroad", great television, I watched all three series when it was on free-to-air in Australia. Loved seeing your reactions, and you non-reactions when some great lines went way over your head. As for China, this is nothing like the China I experienced, I've been there twice. China is so worth visiting: see China, see the future and be afraid, be very, very afraid. China is amazing, my eyes were everywhere, it looks familiar but is filled with contradictions. Check out the toilets everywhere you go and be sure to have a pocket full of tissues; don't want to get caught short.
Amazing modern cities, ask lots of questions, find out how society is managed and regulated. Ride their high speed trains and have your socks blown off, visit all the tourist hot spots and see how they've embraced capitalism. Go to live performances in theatres and be amazed, see how long it takes for you to tire of authentic Chinese cuisine. Learn how social credit works and imagine life in that reality. Go to China, go soon, assume nothing and check everything.

Hey JPS. I have just discovered your channel on TH-cam and am really loving your content. I’ve always loved Karl, Ricky and Steve together and watching your reactions as an American to a British comedian was hilarious. I would love to see your reactions to more similar shows Eg Fawlty Towers (with John Cleese from Monty Python). I’m from Australia and maybe you could do some “An American reacts” videos to Australian situations (although we are descended from the British we are pretty much different in most ways. Keep up the great work mate, love it

That looked like a very brittle metal, the longer the piece, the easier it breaks to pieces, under its own weight. It will hurt to get hit over the head with it but you can surely train to withstand it. It would be a lot more painful to break that short piece Karl was trying to.

I know it was necessary for the programme but it's funny hearing Ricky and Steve defending the Chinese way of doing things, including the language, when they were even more scathing than Karl during some of the radio shows.

Man I love how he sees stuff, he just. Makes you laugh.😂😂👌 In Kung fu, you can teach your body to take that metal bar or pain etc, as it teaches you to use your mind, as in mind over matter to absorb the pressure.

I always "forgot" my PE kit accidentally on purpose until the teacher figured out my plan lol. Luckily for me, those of us who either didn't like PE/Gym or were crap at it...the teacher let us have our own group separate from the other kids (LOL) so it we ended up being a group of 15 or so that was basically me, the fat kids and the gay kids and we'd just mess around and have a laugh the whole lesson xD. Good times.
