Good work.....this is one of the best science exhibition project for school and college...but not for the daily use.... geyser are very dangerous...most people lost their life... don't try this at home....
It's a good idea for use by an electrical expert. I think, the container can withstand normal heat. Cost of container only is saved by this. Risky for a common man. For the reasons, 1. there is no earth wire connected for safety. Three wires system must be used. Also 2. pressure relief valve needs to be installed. I don't think the cost is much effective.

The concept is ok but the Geyser tank is made from metal and will store hot water for a long time, but your geyser is made from plastic it was melted after certain temperatures so experiment purpose is acceptable but using purpose is not ok.....
