Now,
income increased by 20%=120 (new income) and expenditure increased by 10%=75*10/100=7.5....75+7.5=82.5 and saving 120-82.5=37.5✔️
Increase in his saving is 37.5-25=12.5

x/y = 3:2 ( here 3 is big so between x and y, x is big no.)
x+y = 3+2 = 150 (given)
