Fabulous!!! I picked up a brand new Singer tiny serger at a yard sale and this video was so beautifully explanatory, I had no problems threading it at all. I've never owned a serger before and I'm so excited to use it. Thanks so much.
Picked up one of these machines for $10 at an estate sale. It’s been in my craft room for about 7 years. I was too intimidated by it. Your video walked me through and all it needed was a proper threading to make it work! Thanks !!
Thanks! I have one my mother got sometime 30-40 years ago, took out and tried to thread once and put it back in the box. Maybe I'll get some use out of it now!
OMG! I'm an experienced sewer but I've never used a serger before. I picked it up at the swap meet for $20, knowing what it is but not knowing how to use it. It was dirty and old-looking, with all kinds of thread balls on it, so I was certain it wouldn't work or parts would be missing. I followedd along with your video, threading the machine perfectly. I set all three tensions to 2 and, presto, it works perfectly right outta the gate. I'm ecstatic! Thank you SO much!! ❤️
Thanks for sharing this video. A friend of ours just got a Tiny Serger and has let me borrow it, mostly because I've used them before and he hasn't. He asked me to figure out how to set it up, use it and then teach him how. This video not only helps me understand how to thread it, I can share the link with him so he knows how to as well. As an added bonus, I'm able to begin a project with it and put this new knowledge into immediate use. :)
Thank you for making this video. Just picked up a Tiny Serger today and after watching this I am eager to try it out. Video was very easy to understand.
You have no Idea how much this helps I have on similar to yours I've had it for about 36 yrs and had stopped using it I just took it out tonight and it still works!!!! it was a pain in the a..... to thread but I finally got it done Thanks for Sahring
Wow.. you're the boss! Great video, got me going on my tiny serger and voila she is working! I'm a true beginner, and your video was so easy to follow, love the close ups you got! Took out the guesswork which invariably is always wrong.. LOL. thank you thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yours video is perfect! 👌🏼 You make it seem less complicated and easy to do. Many Many thank you’s. 💕 I knew it couldn’t be that difficult. Thank you again for taking the time. Your video is definitely 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I watched so many other videos that were terrible, someone should delete all the other ones.
Great job on the first video! I am new to sewing (only have been sewing for 5 months) and I find that I really dislike finishing all of my edges BEFORE I get to sew anything together! I was looking for a good price on sergers to learn on. I found one of these Tiny Sergers. But before I buy, I had to know how to use it. So thank you so much for helping me make my decision 😁
Help! After I watched this video the first time I was able to thread my Tiny Serger without a problem. And it worked beautifully for almost a year! Then I needed to change my needle. I used the same size needle that came with the machine. And it was made by Singer size 90/14. It started out fine for about 10 stitches. And then the rear looper began brushing up against the needle and the and causing the needle to come unthreaded. I have tried to rethread the entire machine numerous times, tried different needles and sizes. I’m not using any different fabrics than I used before so I don’t know how what to do. I’m on a fixed income so I can’t afford to just go buy a higher end model. Can you please advise me? I have been sewing for a little over a year now and I love it so much. Being an older disabled woman it has brought me a whole new world of possibilities and joy to explore that I am grateful to have access to. 🦋💃🙌🙏🏻
If my cousin & I were patient we would have know the light turns on when the pedal is not connected or off when connected. I finally got it all treaded.
This video was vary informative, however. If you re do the video could you focus your camera and shine a light on the unit . I had to watch it 7 x to try and see what you were doing as your shot was slightly out of focus and dark. But! Your video was the only one that was detailed enough for me to thread my yard sale find. Thanks
This can be purchased on Amazon for $199. Why would I spend $199 for a Tiny Serger, when for $219 Amazon & Ebay are selling new, the Singer Making the Cut SO230 Serger (4 threads), with cutting feature. I do very little sewing which requires a serger, so this one is fine for the $50 (new) I spent for it, Do love your threading tutorial.
Any chance you could speak to how to reattach the presser foot? Just got one of these, and the presser foot came off while I was threading it, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to keep it in place!
Excellent instructional video and I loved the commentary! "Now you're done with the dreaded blue thread." "Nobody likes fat, frayed edges!" "Behold! The multicolored magic of a serger!"

Yall ate my heros! I read the directions and attempted to decipher the ancient Babylon pictures. It made no sense. This is perfect!
I just bought one for $47 and have never used a serger before even though I’ve been sewing for years. Can’t wait to try it out!
This was an amazing walk-through, thank you! Just picked this up at my local Goodwill for $4, so excited to use it!
Wow! Great deal!
Price
Amazing price!
Thanks for the help decoding this ancient technology!
I'm so glad I ran across this video. I haven't used by Singer Tiny Serger in a while, and the "manual" was not helpful. You saved the day.
Thanks! I have one my mother got sometime 30-40 years ago, took out and tried to thread once and put it back in the box. Maybe I'll get some use out of it now!
Thank you. A friend just gave me one. I had no idea how to thread. Super helpful tutorial

Just got mine, just now! I found a brand-new one on my local cl for only $15! Yay!!!!! What a steal! Great tutorial, by the way. 😊❤

❤ Fantastic walk through! I watched this before buying my machine, so I had an idea how to thread and use it. Just the best, love the humor too.

Thank you so much for the details!! I just got one at the Goodwill for 15.00! And it works perfect
Thank you so much! Just bought one at our local thrift store for $5 and it didn’t have a manual included, so this is very helpful!

Thanks. I just inherited this model from my aunt's estate.
most random life saver, along with the video on how to fix the infamous cracked gear
Excellent! I haven't used this since the 90s. Thanks for the fun tutorial!
Wow! Thank you so much for your video!!
Excellente explanation. God Bless you. Thanks.
This was so helpful! Thank you!
Such an excellent tutorial thanks so so much. Had this for since 2010 never used because did not know how. But I will use it now.

It looks fairly easy. Your video was very good.
Ty! Also using tweezers is genius.
Thank you for this video. It’s very helpful, and just what I needed. ♥️✨

there nice little sergers for small items that need serged edges .
Best tutorial ever!
Too funny! and a great commercial for just getting a serger foot for my sewing machine. ;)
This machine was left in the house I bought! Wonderful video!!!!!!!!
How fun to find what other people have left behind. Especially if it’s something that you can use!

Awesome!!! Great video!
Just wanted to know if you're going to make any more videos on this? I'm clueless....my machine is already threaded....
Thank you!!!!!

I just see one Bran New everything, incluye in the box for $40 in Goodwill.
I was tempted, but pass I have had industrial machines.
Upon threading as described, it won't sew it just makes a whirring noise. Is mine broken?
وانا ايضا وقع لي كدلك
I had one, but the foot fell of and I couldn't put it back on... got rid of it.
I'm so proud to find this but locks with first stitch. 😔
No instruction manual for stitching problems. 🥴😔
My red thread, #2, isn’t catching. Any ideas? I have rethreaded already
Carefully follow the diagram on the machine.
I followed the diagram, the manual and the video and none of the threads are catching. I feel like there’s some important step they left out.
Did you ever figure this out? I’m having the same issue
@@mayapowers8483 No I never did.
@@mayapowers8483 No, I’m sorry. I never did.
Necesito el pedal para esta máquina se me perdió Necesito el pedal de esta maquinita porque se me perdió
love the video but wish the camera person wasn't so shaky lol take 2 just kidding
okay 😂 I broke the needle 🪡
Excellent instructional video and I loved the commentary!
"Now you're done with the dreaded blue thread."
"Nobody likes fat, frayed edges!"
"Behold! The multicolored magic of a serger!"
This is kind of weird the way it gets threaded and how you have to put it threw the top hole two times plus I'll just stick to the big serger
Thank you!!!
