Playing with some friends tonight. We need a tank. Are there any tanks that are fun to be not just rush up and slap something? I tried a cleric was great but was bored most of the game.
Late reply! I feel like most the tanks aren't extremely active or micro intensive decision making. If you've tried cleric as tank that would of been more decision making then normal tanks. I personally like playing tirmar paladin or motherland paladin gives abit more to do with knowing when to use smites for burst or spell utility. For some reason I really enjoyed the path of stone barbarian also but that's is probably because I liked the idea of a 2handed martial class that can still tank, do decent damage and regenerates health. Thanks so much for watching! ❤️
@Methfu I just find dnd 5e and this games idea of a melee tank really boring. We went Monk. It's been doing us just fine. We just have to be smart about how we engage but holding up so far. We are in the original campaign. Just finished this vampire lady. Think we are level 6. Great game just wish the tanks were more like 4e or divinity where they get as much as the spell casters. Thank you for the reply
@@braydenb1581 Yeah I definitely get what you mean. Lol that's funny you mention that since I was going to suggest divinity for a more wholesome tanking experience! 😂 Monks pretty fun to play so think you made a good choice! If you made it past the vampire lady you should be pretty good to go with most the game since she's one of the tougher bosses. No worries got anymore questions feel free to ask! 👍
If you're playing on the hardest difficulty I find that bard definitely comes equipped with great tools to be able to handle most situations, they also smooth out the early game slightly since they're quite strong at the beginning with mockery cantrip. If you want the smoothest run possible in the original campaign I suggest taking Oath of tirmar paladin - swiftblade ranger - battle cleric - haunted soul sorcerer for twin cast hastes on the martial classes or shock arcanist wizard for utility and damage. This team will be able to handle and overpower most fights in the game since they're the strongest classes and subclasses that compliment each other nicely.
Left a like for you as always. Lots of great action!
never heard of this game lol :O big thumbs up bro :D
Thanks so much for watching! Merry Xmas! ☃️
Great guide

Picking up the Shield spell up at level 6 is a must and waiting till level 10 for Hypnotic Pattern seems way to late.

@Methfu she's a pain in the ass. Gets hurt by daylight but just cloaks herself in magic to avoid it. Bah. Lol but was fun.
Thanks again
Bard for high difficult? sorry I'm noob in the game. And obviously I'm not getting it. Thx for the video build guide really awesome.

@@Methfu thx sound awesome, I will try it.
@@Methfu thats the sad thing about this game, after all these dlcs , still this combo is the most valuable to play
@@savvamon Haha yeah brings the most to the table and is fairly fun to play. Would be nice if they tuned up some of the other classes.
