THIRD PART ^.^ Interviewer: How was your experience with Rohit since, I'm not too sure, but I believe it's your first film with him. Kajol: It's not my first film with him, about 16 years ago he worked with us. He's be an AD in three films with me and then he directed of course Ajay in ten films. So I've known him for ten years. But yes, working under him with his role as a director, it's my first time. He's lovely to work with, he's wonderful to work with, and it was very fun to work with him. And actually, in a rush, we even completed the movie. So it's been a good experience. Interviewer: I've also found out that y'all did a bit of mischief on set. It seems like in the making… SRK: That's actually Rohit's team that keeps playing around, with Varun and all. Because it's so hectic, it was a hectic shooting, we shot for 170 days straight and, in that type of environment, there's a lot of hard work involved so one can get tired but also it's also nice if the atmosphere is nice. We were always playing, doing something fun, laughing. There's always something happening on Rohit's set. It's a must to celebrate everyone's birthday, that's a rule of Rohit's, all the 200 people will have their birthdays celebrated. Kajol: So every third day, someone had a birthday SRK: And we also had nice cars there so everyone would drive the cars around and we'd party in the evening. If packing finished early, we were in Goa, we were in nice locations, in Hyderabad too, it was a family atmosphere, everyone staying together, the rooms and shootings were close. So it was a lot of fun. Interviewer: Kajol, we'll ask you, what is that x-factor that makes SRK a "dilwala"? Kajol: What is the x-factor? Well, that’s why it's called "X", right, because no one knows what it is about that person? (laughs) But I think the one thing that is awesome about him and that comes across on screen is his amazing energy and his genuine honest love for everyone who loves him. He loves the fact that everybody loves him. He genuinely loves what he does and, it's been so many years, he's never taken anything for granted. If fate has made him such a big star, fine but he's made it bigger with his own willpower and his own intelligence. That's something I think is very clear and there and that's your x-factor. Interviewer: Shahrukh, what would you like to say about Kajol? SRK: Like Kajol said, we've known each other for 20 years, a bit more maybe, and we've not worked a lot together but we keep meeting and go over to each other's houses, Kajol comes to see the kids, she brings gifts for the kids. And the best quality I think about her is that she isn't lost in a race. We're all competitive, even if it's healthy, but Kajol is very content and satisfied with her work and way of living. And seeing that, I'm envious. She's content and happy. She's a huge star, but she doesn't behave like it. And another quality, the way she feels, she says it, if it's in a scene or in real life. It's a very clear cut, normal life. I find it very uncomplicated very beautiful, vey simple, and very real. She's a very real person. It's like if I have some trouble and I know I can call her and I won't just get words but also help. It's not like she'll just give me words. There are some friends that always have your back and that's what it is. Kajol: I got your back SRK: She's got my back, bro Interviewer: If we were to talk about the film, what's the unique aspect of the songs? SRK: There's six songs in the movie and, actually, our favorites are the romantic ones. We've become too romantic in this movie. There's three songs that are great. Gerua has been released. Another is Janam, Janam. It's a ballad that people will love. And the last is "Dyre" (???), it's a sad song. And we finished a song the other day, "Tukroo, tukroo, turkoo" (again: ???) and that's very funny and sweet and that's a song that's for people to enjoy. There's another song with Kriti and Varun, "Premika" and it's in a R.D. Burman style. Pritam gave the song s a good mix and because Rohit gave such attention to the songs so that he can, exploit, in a good way, all the actors and the romantic aspect. The songs are very varied, it's a very varied album. Interviewer: We've know that you're deemed the "King of Romance" but that you prefer to do action. And Rohit Shetty is the "Master of Action" but he likes to do romance. Kajol: Yeah, what are you guys doing? SRK: Yeah, I've realized after working with him, Rohit's a very simple man with a soft heart. He knows action and he does it safely and very well. For this boy that's caught up in this love, do you have any tips? SRK: What's his name? Siddharth? Don't worry. I don't think in love you need to look at face, age, skin, caste, race. Love is love. And if you think she's older, well those times are gone. Long gone are the times when there needed to be an 8 or 9 year difference between husband and wife and they shouldn't be the same age. And after a certain age, age doesn't matter. Between 18-25, you feel "I'm 18, someone else is 16" (Meaning thinking about age too much in general) but after 25, you can't tell the difference from one age to another. And in any case, an older woman would be more mature, she'd take care of you (joking), If you do something wrong or trouble her, she'll set you straight. Kajol: And if you never say it, you'll always regret that you didn't SRK: Yeah, tell her that you love her Kajol: If you don't, all your life you'll be thinking "What if I had told her then what would have happened?"
