I really appreciate the transparancy on this one. Been following you since the fitness content in 2021 and when you shifted to gaming it inspired me to want to start making long form content as well. Glad the algorithm started recommending your stuff on here

I have watched a few of your videos over the last few weeks and subscribed today and then the TH-cam feed recommended this video to me. Turned out this video was more interesting than I realised it would be - it was a fascinating watch! Now, I guess I have to say Cookie.
Really appreciate the transparency about your accounts and payment structures etc.
Also definitely understand the concerns about people seeing your spending as bragging. I grew up in a council flat with an unemployed dad and a mum on benefits and after years of me and my now wife being in debt we eventually got ourselves out of it, got better jobs and bought our house at 38 and are now in a much better situation financially. Still not enough to spend without worrying but enough to be able to live comfortably and i worry talking about my game collecting coming off as bragging.
Ultimately i just always keep ky upbringing in mind so i don't forget what the struggle is like but that doesn't mean i cant spend a decent amount of money upgrading the house or collecting PS3 games (nearly at 300 now).

i originally came to this channel from tiktok a few years ago, i remember watching a dark souls one playthrough, then completely forgot about these videos until they started showing up in my recommended again recently, new videos are great btw
Very informative video, and I made it to the end and didn't quit! I subbed about 2 weeks ago, the £2k CEX probably.
And looking at your videos page, the 10 videos I have watched have the red line going right to the end, bar 1 video, which was 90% watched, so you're doing something right.
I'm so happy you came up on my feed by accident cause i saw some TikTok's but you just happened to appear on TH-cam and as someone who used to work a game you are a breathe of fresh air compared to the normal customers we used to get

Truth be told, I didn't know Tik Tok pays anyone to make videos if I'm honest. That's pretty sweet if I'm honest.
Whenever I hear about content creators making money, especially when their TH-cam sub count is on the lower end, there is never usually any money in that, plus Tik Tok just seems like a silly place to post shorts about things, am I right in saying that? Doesn't have to be silly, but the content is usually short form.
Either way, well done mate, living the absolute dream. I tried my hand at content creation once upon a time with Twitch, few TH-cam videos here and there in the past, I'm talking way back in like 2016/17 that I don't have uploaded anymore. Never worked out for me though, 99.99% don't really ever do work it out lol.

That's a good point about tiktok serving you content. I really sort of become a zombie consuming what appears (within reason) whereas on TH-cam and Twitch i really look for certain things

In my case i set aside a certain amount of my budget every month to buy games and after that i try to find any good deal i could find be it on flea market, fb marketplace, charity shops etc,, i also sell at flea market so from time to time i get a little extra cash and occasion i find other games for real good deals and resell or trade em. it is how the collecting community works overall.
Dude the information you talked about tiktok is really good I have being debating to get back into tiktok or not any youtube video information about tiktok I have come across do not cover what you have talked about in this video you should make a saprate video about tiktok I can promise you your views will go through the roof that's really good information
