my chem prof assumed we all knew the math, I haven't taken a math class in 2 years, this was so helpful! thank you
Hi Vivian, I am so glad it was helpful. Thank you for your comment and great job working so hard!
you have explained this concept better than my own chem 2 professor, thank you!!
Hi Juice, I am glad is was understandable:) Thank you for your comment!
Thank you for the help I have been struggling with this issue all unit and watched this 30 minutes before my midterm and this cleared it all up.
Hi Eli, that makes me so happy! I am proud of your extra work - good job!
What if x^2 was not on the opposite side of the equal sign would we still need to subtract the other values over ? What if it was like 120x-x^2-1.92
Hi Mya, you would still solve for x. I hope that helps! Thanks and have a great day:)
great video, quick question why do you substitute x for 1 in the quadratic equation? thanks!
Hi Aiden, I assume you are referring to x^2. There was no number in front of x squared so it is understood to be one. I hope that helps:) Thanks!
fantastic video !
Hi Kenneth, Thank you - I am glad you think so. Enjoy your class:)
Watching this the day of my chem prelim lmao. Thanks sm
Hi Adam, I hope everything went well!🙂
Quick question, not sure if I missed it but you know how in the quadratic formula you have a plus/minus sign? Do we add the values together or do we subtract them?
Hi Trynna, calculate the quadratic with the +/- and only use the number that has a positive answer for the solution. I hope that helps. Thanks!
@@OldSchoolChemistry thanks!
excellent explanation
Thankyou Isaiah! I hope your class goes well;)
fantactic video .
