    Great review, great boat! I have the angler8 and will be on the water all summer and fall with it. This boat gets where the big boats cant go.

    i have the 10 ft i bought from a outlet center for a great price not sure if dick sporting discounted them or not but with 2 people it's comfortable me personally i'm not sure how the 8 ft could be . this is my 2nd one i've had they are nice but a bear to load by yourself into a bed of a truck - than again i'm old . i also want to say these are nicer than the pelican's imo as the pelican are more square where the F&S have v hulls at the from. last if you have a truck make a couple ramps from 2x4's and take some of the square electric box covers you get for about $2. bend them slightly to fit onto the tailgate and fasten down with a couple bolts - make loading so much easier imo and from back just slides up .

      I have the sun dolphin 8ft mini bass and pelican bass raider 8ft. I slide in back of my pickup truck. Tie boat at rear of truck to hold in. Back truck down loading ramp into water til tailgate is under water. Leave truck running. Slide off in Lake. I usually get in water. I don't mind getting wet. Or climb in bed. Push out. That's it. Easy!! Reverse procedure. Pull boat in truck or get back in lake and push. Easier than loading on trailer. I set my sun dolphin mini on autobody folding stands high enough to back truck up to boat. Push boat full of gear up in truck off the stands. And slide back on stands afterwards.

    How hard is it to move with just oars and no motor? I've fished from the bank my entire life and I'd like to get a boat. I need one that my S10 can haul and can be easily paddled. Also, only myself and possibly my dog would be in it so I have to be able to get it into the lake by myself.

      I have another video on the channel explaining some key points we missed, one of them being loading it up one man. Now your question about paddling. I highly recommend getting a trolling motor. It’s gonna save you time and effort because it is pretty difficult to paddle that thing around. And also if there’s any wind you will get blown around. Trust me you don’t want to paddle when it’s windy out. The only time I’d use a paddle is if the trolling motor stopped working. Paddles are your back up.

    I just bought the 8 , title says its a 2020 model. The seller didn’t tell me that water gets into the boat
    (Under floor or in pontoons not sure). I heard it sloshing when I dropped the trailer at home.
    He has drilled some holes for attachments. He says not leaking from water it is in, only in heavy rains when uncovered.
    Have you heard of anyone having problems with water leaking in from under or lower sides while in water?

    • @Lit-UP.
      @Lit-UP.  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s most likely due to the holes that he drilled for the attachments. The one that I have has no issues with water getting into the pontoon part. And on top of that I also store it in a dry area where rain can’t get to it.

    If you are still reading these comments I have a question. I have a chance to get one at $400. How is this as for throwing a heavy cast net. Not a light cheap one but a 7ft pretty heavy one. Would you think that would work ok? Fairly good balance here.

    • @Lit-UP.
      @Lit-UP.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      400 is a really good price. Now for net fishing I’m not sure. I wish I could give you a straight answer. Balance wise the boat is great. But weight would be your biggest issue. The boat is very light. But either way that a hell of a deal. Hope this helped

    • @Lit-UP.
      @Lit-UP.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure what length on the trolling motor. I’ll have to measure it when I get a chance. But I’d recommend a short one you don’t need much to reach the water. I have it in the front because it’s easier to fish that way and maneuver the trolling motor. I put a thin piece of wood to clamp onto. But you definitely could put it on the back for sure if you wanted
