    I just tried on Windows, and it's actually Shift + Alt then drag, not Ctrl + Alt as stated in the description.

    THANK YOU was looking for this! Was struggling changing out an icon without a client's "Button with Icon" component. The "swap instance" menu available from right-clicking the icon within the button only let me swap instances of icons within that specific folder (for example, my client has different groupings of icons by category-"Audio," "Business," etc. Can confirm this technique works to let me swap any icon for any other within their entire library of icons, and still keep the button component attached :)

    I just tried this on a Windows machine using ctrl + alt and shift + alt, but Figma's not removing the original icon and laying the new one on top if it's in a component set or component group; it works on an individual component for me.
