Unfortunately, most of the airlines who appeared in this video went bankrupt
Transbrasil went bankrupt in 2002
Varig went bankrupt in 2010
Vasp went bankrupt in 2005
TAM became LATAM in 2016
Rio Sul went bankrupt in 2003
Vídeo histórico. A maioria das empresas aéreas já não existem mais. A TAM virou LATAM e a TOTAL ainda permanece no mercado. Parabéns.

Incrível a força da Tam nessa época em que começou a operar os Airbus, já engolia uma fatia gigantesca do mercado, ainda mais com a retração da Transbrasil, já se encaminhando à falência nessa época. Imagens históricas e lindas, como é legal ver Vasp, Transbrasil e Varig (infelizmente já na sua pintura mais sem graça) em ação!
Em 99 foi quando comecei a faculdade de Turismo. Estagiei no Santos Dumont, no prédio que hj é um hotel e ficavam escritórios da Varig e da Vasp. Estagiei na central de reservas da Vasp e um pouquinho no Check-in também.

Uma pena a Transbrasil ter virado "Transfaliu", era uma Empresa Aérea bem simpática, e, ao lado Vasp e - principalmente - Varig, formava o "Clube das Aéreas com serviços de Bordo decentes" que antecedeu à atual era da "Aviação pacotinho de Minduim"
Quando o Brasil tinha uma aviação comercial de verdade. (When Brazil had true commercial aviation.)

Cara não é impossível que tem até plane spotting (1999) de santos Dumont, se tiver do Galeão eu vou ficar impressionado.
Ano que voei de Congonhas para santos Dumont, fui de Varig e Voltei Transbrasil.

Varig, Vasp, Transbrasil, Tam, empresas aéreas brasileiras que fizeram história na época de ouro da nossa aviação, apenas a Tam que hoje é Latam as outras infelizmente não existem mais.
