Thank you so much for your time and care in filming this video. I am a 70 year old woman and my skills in assembly are few. I was worried after reading some of the negative comments on assembly, unlocking, and front wheel issues. After watching your video I confidently ordered one!
Thank you for the complete walk-around of the unit. I have a later model but none the less your video helped me resolve a small problem. The steel cable between the rear wheels, came loose on mine and I re-installed it incorrectly, your video helped me correct this little problem. Enjoy the game and thanks again.
Thanks for explaining how to open and close the cart as well as explaining all of the accessories. I didn’t realize some of the features and the wheel being rotated at the bottom and how to properly place the cart and adjust the front wheel so it doesn’t rub. Didn’t realize there was a cooler bag for snacks, water or etc! Thank you.
Thanks. I was put off buying this due to negative comments online but these seem to be by people who are incapable of putting it together in the first place. You made it look simple so I’ll be buying it now 👍🏻🏴
I have one of these carts and at first it was stiff to open/close. I sprayed some heavy duty silicone into each of the hinge joints and it made it much easier. You could probably use WD-40 as well to do the same thing. It’s very well-made cart and have had no trouble with it after 2 years.
When I saw the video was 15 minutes I thought it would be too long. But actually it is a great video. Especially the "out of the box" section. I am in the market to purchase and was looking for reviews and this was a great video for me to make my decision. Thanks!!
Thanks for the detailed assembly and review. I have this exact same cart, but unfortunately the locking mechanism is defective on my unit. I'm sure I'll enjoy using it after I have it exchanged.
I just purchased (yesterday) the CaddyTek Caddylite EZ V8 - EZ-Fold 3 Wheel Golf Push Cart on Amazon $173.46 USD - arrival date is tomorrow. I read a number of reviews & thought this fit my budget & requirements. I've used the Sun Mountain Pathfinder type push cart the past 9 years and it held up pretty fair. I walk ~140 rounds/year. Since the Sun Mountain has nearly reached the end of its usable functionality I thought I'd give the CaddyTek a shot. Nice review, good video. Thanks for posting.
I purchased this cart based on this review too... but my model is slightly different, obviously newer as it's now 2021. Sad to say I am having troubles with it, because the button you press to close it down is just terrible! After 45 minutes of swearing and sweating, we figured out the trick. To close it you must: hold down one wheel with your foot - use all arm strength to push the handle skywards - listen for a faint click - then and only then is the button pressable. It folds smoothly once you press the button but it requires a lot of strength to get to that point! It'll be a wrestling match and I think this is important for people to know as it was really important to me and frankly I would not have gotten this model had I known it'd be an issue. Possibly I just have a slightly defective model? But I just wanted to share that with anyone watching this video, which for the most part is still applicable, but now 3 years old so no longer the exact same EZ-Fold sold by Costco.
The written instructions which come with the unit clearly explain that, before pushing the button, lift up slightly on the handle to take the tension off the button mechanism. With mine this is exceptionally easy to do. From your description, it sounds as the 'defect' was in failing to read the instructions completely.
@@rogerl7533 LOL the instructions that came with mine were illustrations with titles in improper English. Trust me, there isn't much to read. Watching the video kindly provided by the reviewer was the best way to get the cart out of the box and into use and I am grateful for nice folks like him who use the internet to help people out. No reason to be rude, dude. Have a GREAT DAY!
@@rogerl7533 I think what you are choosing to not understand is that there are some faulty locking mechanisms that aren’t working as the instructions are stating.
Good review. I just finished putting mine together. Easy. The only issue that I had was the "PUSH" button. It just wouldn't move. I used both thumbs together and couldn't get it to budge. I finally used a rubber mallet and gave it a soft hit. I opened right up. After that, it wasn't a problem any more. It seems to be a slick cart. I'm looking forward to using it!
I have one on order. Got a great deal for $78!!!The for the video. Cool to know about the stand locker. Isn't the front wheel suppose to be moved to a different position when closing it?
Great review. Mellow and short and sweet. I am guessing that the umbrella holder actually holds an umbrella in the upright position when it is open when it is raining. Am I correct on that?
i noticed in your video there are 2 bungees going across the mesh pocket, are the bungees from plastic storage area on the handle & where do you connect those?
The umbrella holder knob on tge end of the screw internally comes off everytime I use it. Therefore it doesn't hold my umbrella. Also the bag height adjustment keeps moving. Please give suggestions.
POMS Peace of Mind Supply. No problem your review really helped me with picking this cart for my dad. Not a lot of reviews really go into depth about all the components.
Nice review, one question though i take once first assembled you never need to rotate the front wheel back to the lock position? i thought perhaps you might have to, to fully collapse the unit
The foot brake is actually great. It's not friction based like a bicycle brake, instead a metal bar shifts forward into a plastic catch. Will never wear out. Great question
Thanks Phil! Great question, I've had the cart out about 2 dozen times since the video and there are no signs of wear. One of the most important features IMO is the brake and the fact that it's not a friction brake was a great move on CADDYTEK. Great bang for your buck
@@pomspeaceofmindsupply2164 It was on the back of this video that i went and bought two of them. One for me , and one for a mate that needed one as well. Good units...proven to be exactly what i was looking for.
I have a Caddy Tek EZ-Fold 4-wheel cart. The issue I have is on occasion the latch at the Red Push Button will disconnect, dropping the handle. Have you heard of this problem and if so, is there a fix? Thanks.
Very similar model but not the same! Caddytek seems to make quality long lasting products so if it suits your needs I would say $90 is well worth it. Thanks for watching!
I bought this brand of four-wheel products before Christmas. The assembly is very simple. The balance is very poor when I use them. The friction between the front wheel and the bag will cause the car to not run normally in a straight line. I am very disappointed with the quality of this brand of products
I hate mine. Super hard to deploy and takes so much force to close it I feel like it is going to break. Too much drag on the plastic components that slide on the frame. I went back to my ancient pull cart. At least I know when I am in the parking lot at the golf course I won't spend 10 minutes fighting with it. Maybe I just got a defective one but if others are complaining I can't be the only one. Probably made in China so quality control is sketchy.
Thanks so much for watching! Any questions please ask away. Cheers
Great job on the review from one member of Leafs Nation to another. With your help putting our two carts together was easy peasy. 👍
Can you adjust the straps for different bag heights?
My son has a jr bag and it’s not as tall.
Amazing video. Perhaps CaddyTex should solicit you to create the “how to guide”. Thank very much for posting.
Glad it was helpful!

Excellent demo. The red release button confused me when reading the instructions, but your demo cleared it up.
Nicely done and by far the best and most helpful of the 3 videos I watched.
Thank you for this video. You helped me overcome my disappointment at not being able to set up my new trolley.👍
Thanks for showing how to do this a few times. My son is more comfortable now that he watched this💫
Thank you. I followed your video to assemble the caddy and learn how to fold up and fold away. It was excellent. Cheers, V
You are an excellent teacher - thank you
Thank you for this video. You saved me a whole lot of stress and anger. Mine wasn’t locking but this video showed me how to lock it properly.
Thankyou for your thorough review. Wife Just ordered mine for my Birthday!! Appreciate it!
What a great review! Not sure I would have gotten mine together without your help! Looking forward to using it on the golf course. Thanks so much!
Thank you for making this video. The directions with the product were very unclear, so this saved me.
Happy to hear that! Thanks for the kind feedback

Hello thx for this great démo. Is it possible to attach a smartphone ?
The new versions seem to do so.. curious if this one does?
just purchased one. great review
How do you put the bottle holder on, do totally unscrew the piece it sits in?
Great vid!
Great video. Can you adjust the front wheel? my trolly keepings veering right?
Great review. Mellow and short and sweet. I am guessing that the umbrella holder actually holds an umbrella in the upright position when it is open when it is raining. Am I correct on that?
Absolutely correct!
This carrier was not as bulky as our more expensive carrier and it fit our baby perfectly. His face wasn’t being obstructed.

Great review man. But if I had to take shot for every time you said unit I would die of alcohol poisoning lol. Great job though, very thorough!
Thanks! Jeez I went back and watched the whole video and the number of "units" is absolutely cringeworthy

Great review, can the cooler bag and the guide wires that keep it in place be removed or is it permanently attached?
Her just wondering if the storage bag comes off?
How do you remove the rear wheels?

Can you adjust the handle height?
Have you used the seat attachment?
Great review!
Great video! i would have returned this product if not for this video! Thank you!
Thank you! Very happy to hear it helped!
Can that pouch hold an oversized metal water bottle? Or is it flimsy?
Good review. My cart pulls to the left. How do you adjust the 'steering'?
Have you rotated the front wheel to the middle position?
Great information video. Do you know the weight kg?
Thank you! The cart weighs 8.35kg
Great video. Good job.
Does it have a sand bucket holder?
Yes it does
LIKED and thanks for putting the video together. How is it holding up and do you Pull or Push it more often?
Thanks for the like! Its holding up very well, quite robust. I almost always push it! Cheers!
It's called a pushcart. Not a pull cart
Helpful video. How well does the foot brake work?
The foot brake is actually great. It's not friction based like a bicycle brake, instead a metal bar shifts forward into a plastic catch. Will never wear out. Great question
Thank you! That was helpful!
great video, how many beers/soda cans fit in the little cooler pouch?
4 regular size cans!
The straps on top were not ready!! How can I attach them to hold the bag on top, along with straps on the bottom
By following the instructions which come with the unit
Great Video.... interested to see what you have to say now that you have used it for a while ? Any issues going forward ?

Any idea how to adjust the front wheel if it continues to pull to the right? How do you adjust it to align it properly?
My suggestion would be to swap the wheel with one of the rear wheels to determine if the wheel is bent. Good luck!

Unfortunately no fix I know of, but caddytek is very good about their warranties, you may have a defective latch... good luck and thanks for watching!
Is this the same one as the "LEOPARD" model? I have a line on one for $90 CAD. Good deal?

Front wheel seems to be easily out of order, losing bearings in the center of the hole.
