    Very good video and informative but you forgot to check your coolant and radiator. Those are important as well.

      Hi XTrickster, thank you for watching and leaving your comment. The Arctic Cat 400 doesn't have liquid cooling. That's a very good thing to mention however as people watching the video may have liquid cooling on there ATV. Please give me a thumbs up on the video, subscribe, let others know about our channel and do check out our other videos. 👍

    Enjoyed the video, needed to know a lot of what you went over. We just bought our first ATV, an Artic Cat. Bought it second-second hand, so no manual and it's all been spray-painted, so no identifying stickers; they even painted over the serial number sticker under the right rear fender - just above the muffler. I was told it is an '05 400, but having a hard time verifying that. Do you know of any other place to locate a serial number any where on the frame? We want to buy a manual just not sure which one to purchase. Thanks sir.

      What I would do is call Artic Cat and see if they can help you identify the year of manufacture. I'm sure they can nail down the exact date yours was made. After that identification is made then you can find a owners manual online. Thank you for watching my videos. Please give me a thumbs up, subscribe to to my channel and let others on your social media know about our channel. Have a great day.

    I got my ac 550 as used. When I checked the air filter, there was some water in there box. I know it's not good... I cleaned it out, dry it, change the spark plug, oil (didn't see anything worng with the oil). Bike starts, runs, nothing wrong as I noticed, do I have to worry about any damage to the engine?

    • @explorer867
      @explorer867  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi, please help. I have a 2008 artic cat trv 500,I need to do the coolant flush and add new, but I don't know what type or brand, please any input would help.

      Mine is an air cooled motor in the Artic Cat 400 ATV so no coolant. In my Arctic Cat snowmobiles I run the "Napa auto parts" premixed green coolant. You could go to your dealer and pickup the Arctic Cat name brand coolant but its more expensive. Please subscribe, give me a thumbs up, and let others know about our channel. Do check out our other videos also. Have a great day.
