May, June this year was too cold in Germany. When I was in Italy in summer as a teenager in the fifties, it was always hot like hell. It is fearmongering with the climate. The climate always changes, even before we had cars etc.

@@solangelauthier2381To travel the world, the first rule is to do it in the season when everyone else is not doing it. When you can't, better to stay at home really. The second rule is not to go where everyone goes. Italy is also full of beautiful cities with little tourism, even if they are not minor cities. Logically, if you go to the ones that everyone else goes you find too many people. For example, if you go to Turin, you get to see beautiful palaces and museums (like the Egyptian one, which is the second in the world). If you go to Tuscany, you can see Arezzo or Pistoia even in August.
The Marche region is full of interesting centers, etc. You have plan better beforehand. With the Internet, it is easy.

I don’t know why so many people go to the Mediterranean in high summer, then complain about the heat and sunburns. Even before global warming, days of about 100F were usual there in summer. When I go back to Greece, or to Italy, Spain or Turkey, it will be in spring or autumn. Yes, it’s cold and rainy in winter, not the best time to go, plus many attractions are closed.

Here in the British Isles, heating still on in mid June, lambing season a washout , crops not yet planted, the Met Office has hardly been seen spraying chemical lines across the skies to "cool the weather" as they normally do. "As changeable as the weather " adage is never more true than now, change is the constant in our world to which the most adaptive survive best. Some astro experts even say that The Gleisberg Cycle of cooling is now upon us similar to The Little Ice Age 1800AD circa of Europe - recorded in paintings of that period showing skaters on the frozen Thames. Fun historical fact: Europe suffered failed wheat crops but quickly adapted to New World potatoes, except for France which stuck to bread leading to widespread starvation and the French Revolution. Culinary recipes like the now famous French Fries were created to tempt the citizens but to no avail.

What do you expect from Italian cities/urban areas? Extreme heat because their cities are made of concrete, cement, stones, cobblestones, and marbles. These materials just worsen the summer heat in those areas.

Frankly speaking, it keeps on raining, no heat wave at all. Instead of talking about climate change, you should talk about climate manipulation, or geo-engineering, which our governments keep on doing. Last week they told us that Sahara sand had fallen with rain (it happens often), but it stuck to magnets 🧲, as it was full of heavy metals sprayed by cloud seeding airplanes.

We always had summers with more than 40C and this was never a secret, but officially they never used to tell us exactly how much more than 40C is the temperature, so they don't scare the population. It was like this even before year 2000. Don't scare the people.

For example the far north of Italy and in the mountains!!! Beautiful places. In Livigno for example the far north of Italy near Switzerland.Cool in summer and Cold in winter!!!There are many places in Italy where the climate is different !!! Italy can be visited 365 days a year. If you want to visit the central south of Italy you shouldn't go there in the summer, at the latest in the spring. The temperatures are very high especially for those who are not used to it. In Italy in August many Italians are on holiday and both the streets and tourist places are super crowded. August and July are only suitable for being in the water in Italy.

People don’t do their research before traveling. We never go anywhere in the summer. It’s just to uncomfy and hot and there’s tourist taking over. The hot weather can be dangerous if you have elderly people with you. I don’t understand going somewhere when it’s too hot. The fall and the spring are perfect 👍. I’ve lived in Europe and know for a fact it definitely has gotten hotter especially in Italy. Last summer they warned people to please not come during the summer as the emergencies services could not keep up with everyone. 🥺 Do your homework before you go anywhere. Trust me it’ll be better for you as the traveler. 😉

Rome is rough. It is late July here and i have to ask for ice at all meals and make sure my room has AC. Some restaurants don't even have a fan for outdoor seating, only a thin canopy. Even my tour guide couldn't stop for water break on hot day. Why is this happening in 1st world city?
Also Is it possible that it has too many concrete/asphalt surfaces absorbing heat during daytime and emitting it at night. Rome is maybe having a rain famine also.
Travelers to Europe: All these things to consider when traveling here and other parts that experience severe summer months. Just my three cents :) Only peace and love to Italy.

Electromagnetic waves are absorbed by water in the air (humidity). It would be good to switch off 5g for a few days now and see possible result, considering air temperature. 😊
