Once you start doing caves you realize how different this game really is I absolutely love the level of exploration this game has added at times you even get lost and stuck. I just did the maze today and was in there for an hour.

I tried refusing as well 😂🤣😭 I was so disappointed at least I used a rock just to test it. I was still disappointed though I have strong weapons I refuse to use because of this and also definitely saving all the time is sooooooooooo important. The enemies one hit you if you end up exploring. I eventually learned just run away or sneak away

I explored sky before I traveled down. It's best to explore the heck out of SKY Land and then finally get going to the Quest start.
I learned to save often back in my super NES days. A lot of frustrated 6 hour long gameplay not saving but very far and made a fatal mistake noooooooooooooooos
Especially when yer snes got older and the slightest tremor reset the damned game.
Only gripes: The Master Sword is weaksauce once you get it compared to BoTW, in botw the Master Sword fixed the broken weapon problem and it should do that, it should be the most powerful, hardest to "Break" weapon in the game. It's the MASTER SWORD.
But despite being told "It just keeps getting stronger" and then getting it back and finding its damage as low as 20 dmg and it breaking just about as frequently as a knight's broadsword just feels sad.
Its sad because it feels like its this way because they made the fuse system... the Master Sword should not ALSO rely on that fuse system, it should be the exception to the rule just like the non-corrupted weapons SHOULD be but aren't.
Or, if you want to keep the fuse system even with The Master Sword make its fusions different, like in one image of a title thing or something (may've been the opening after you jump and get "TEARS OF THE KINGDOM!" with epic music) I saw the sword have an extra light "blade" coming off the end of it like it was a normal extension.
Let fusions with The Master Sword make it have a wholly unique look to what the other weapons in the game had, that would fix it for me, but Nintendo won't hear these complaints or rectify them, so I'll just have to enjoy the game for what it is and use the Master Sword for back decoration during cutscenes.
Some solid tips as great as BOTW was incredible TOTK is way beyond that and way different enough that yes it feels familiar but there is so much more. BOTW might have scored 2 points higher on the review charts imo thats not the case in what I have seen so far.

Ascend is love. I find Zelda stresses me out. I never know which way to go. I'm in the second dungeon because I feel like that's where I am supposed to be but I just want to wander around.
I’m gonna try to believe you, I keep falling asleep playing this game because after landing in hyrule it looks and feels exactly like BOTW to me.

That is how much time development took to make the game but I want to know if there is an actual answer to how long it's been since breath of the wild's time frame
@@LoneRogue96 link was 17 in botw but is still unable to drink in totk, so my assumption is about 3 years
@@galacares2765 actually it's been found out that it's longer than 3 years already it's most likely been closer to 10 or 8 years later mostly because if you go to Tarrytown the Hudson family has a kid that's going to gerudo town and if you remember breath of the wild it stated that children specifically girls are sent to gerudo town when they are old enough such as 8 or 10 years old

Do you have to make each arrow before you use it, or can you make a bunch with fuse and then store them for later?

@@SilverSprings1997 After firing a fused arrow the next time you open up the menu to fuse an arrow to a material again its going to stay on the previously fused material. So its not that tedious in combat

Tip 9: Start up all the great fairies quests asap to up your defence to not get 2 shotted in the mid game😅

There’s far less “hearty” food in TOTK, and NO Hearty Durian 😱 to give you temp heart containers. One hit deaths are back, even after getting 7-8 hearts.
I played over 80 hours before finally finding my first Fairy, which now requires some side questing to get your armor upgrades.

As someone who completed BOTW less than 2 weeks after the release of TOTK, perhaps the most important thing to remember about TOTK is that it isn’t BOTW. TOTK still takes place in Hyrule, but it’s not the same Hyrule we played through BOTW.
I’d “planned” on playing over the surface first, simply to obtain the map, but quickly discovered how bad a strategy that was. The player starts the game on the Great Sky Island, because that’s where most of the resources are. I wanted to avoid the Depths until I’d coins all the towers (and map), but clearly that doesn’t work because there are SO MANY resources that can only be found in The Depths.
It’s a GREAT game, but I transitioned directly from defeating Calamity Ganon and finishing the DLC, to ripping the shrink wrap off and starting TOTK and WOW, I was not prepared for how much both Hyrule and Zelda gameplay changed.
Most important advice: Understand how Zonaite, Zonai charges and Zonai crystals WORK. You avoid quite a bit of wasted time, as just about everything you’re going to need is in those Depths.
"Save often my friends, you won't regret it". Truer words have never been spoken.
This game is so good but it’s so confusing. Like I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do what I can do and what I should do. There’s so much it’s overwhelming in a bad way. Once I get off the sky island I don’t know what to do
Sky Island was exactly what I needed to get started with this kind of game. While botw is sadly just collecting dust on a shelf… I wish there where a bit more direction after landing on the ground, but I understand their angle here. I tried to move quite quickly to a new area, as the first grassy field is just too dull for me, and it seemed to work.

I rilly do thank that there should be a free playable demo for that game.just so we can get the feel of it before paying $70.00 for it. If we never get that I think we at least need that game as one of the first games on the coming switch. If it's as glitchy as it looked like it was frome a revew I watched of it when it just came out.

Also literally using footage with all new equipment weapon fuses and enemies that havnt been seen in official trailers is a mega spoiler. Wish Zack hadn't ruined that for me as soon as I noticed I stopped watching... his time watched rate is gonna plummet on this video.

The dungeons are boring as hell though, anyone can admit that. How many people even remember more than 2 of them. I miss those OOT dungeons

The game leaked 2 weeks ago and then was uploaded online as a ROM. Illegally, Pirates have been playing it for 2 weeks already. Legally, some created Australian nintendo accounts and downloaded the game on those accounts to receive access a day early due to time zone differences. Others like myself are still waiting for their physical copies to arrive tomorrow. Guess I'll be avoiding all media today since no one seems to care if they ruin and spoil the game and it's content for the people who waited patiently for release day.

They are big just not traditional
With more emphasis on fashion I hope for one thing the inventory is going to be much bigger in clothing not a category that you can expand in BOTW but I have already reached a limit where I can't complete other sets without removing other things and the one item I have duplicated is a pair of hylian pants to look like blue jeans that aren't ragged but that still wouldn't give me enough space to complete the sets and I've already removed all of the mask from Kilton

Incase you haven't figured it out yet, go into your menu and select the weapon, you'll see the button there to defuse
i wouldve liked this game more if it was more like botw.. i dont understand how ppl arent mad about cryonis stasis and bombs and especially revalis gale all being ruined or gone

Well BOTW started slow so that’s not a surprise. In fact I didn’t think it WOULD be crazy at the beginning. It’s Zelda … duh. Also the dungeons .. come on , we knew what these dungeons were going to be. Guys it’s going to be amazing , not 2nd coming of Jesus miracle stuff . Have fun! Have tons of fun
Honestly, I just unsubbed from him. I am so tired of people always feeling the need to be negative. Its one thing to say a negative thing but they always need to be, I dont get it.
How does it help anybody to say that he doesnt think the dungeons are the best thing ever? This is made out to be a video of useful things then he throws out a pointless and subjective complaint? He doesnt need to temper our expectations. Just let people find out for themselves since it is so subjective.
I just want to find somebody who can keep the negatives to the minimum and in their place. Another example is how something was done in TOTK and for some reason people constantly need to remind us how it was in BOTW and complain before mentioning it in TOTK. You dont always have to do that. You can just enjoy and let people enjoy TOTK stuff without having to always compare it to BOTW. Its its own game, sigh...
Comparisons are one once in awhile, in a video specifically about them, but its all so overdone.
I’ll be honest, as much as I love classic LoZ dungeons they always feel a bit of a slog towards the end of the game, so I’m happy for the botw style to return with a bit more meat

digital foundry The analysis does note that some cutscenes can suffer from "exceptionally poor" video quality during the pre-rendered sequences. Fortunately, those rendered in real-time are much improved with "sufficient" video quality.
Having praised the game's 5.1 surround sound and new cloud implementation, Digital Foundry notes that the visuals do not quite match up to those that were shown in some of the early trailers and suggests that perhaps some larger hardware could accommodate this in the future. But for now, the tech experts were impressed to see a game of this complexity running on Switch.
