@@keithwthe1andonly that piece falling off and ending up sticking needle open was wild. Never seen that before
Before the pandemic those Ryobi's were in the low $100 to buy new. As of now, they are $149 for the curved shaft and $199 for the straight shaft at Home Depot. Outside of warranty, they really aren't worth bring to a shop.
