How can Mahama who sold Tema Harbour for 35 years to a Foreigner and now it's affecting the country because importers can not pay the Duties at the Harbour

Masa, let me educate yu about that harbour issue ok, in 2006 former president Kufour administration brought mps and gave them concession for 25 years at the old harbour.
And because old harbour was too old and congested and can't receive big ships so Ghana needs to get a new harbour and Mahama administration discussed with mps if they can build a new harbour with their own money of $1.5 billion including Tema motorway for 35 years after 35 years Ghana will takeover the new Port so Tema harbour has not been sold to anybody but it's a concession given to mps for 35 years.
Duty is not determined by mps or any institution apart from GRA customs division which is a state sole institution responsible for government duties and revenues so if importers can't pay duty it because ur government has introduced 21 taxes on every importation including COVID tax which COVID is no more.
mps charges are lower than duties and GPHA charges so don't let Abrɔnyɛ deceive yu because i can see u're ignorance about what u're saying.
Everything in Ghana is now expensive the likes of tomatoes, ginger, cassava, onions, yam etc which are not imported, why are those items expensive? Are those items also cleared through mps? The contract was to construct motorway 6 lanes 3 here 3 there but mps told Ghana government they can do 5 lanes 2 each sides and 1 in the middle making 5 lanes instead of 6 and Mahama administration agreed but when government changed and Npp came to power they cancelled the construction of motorway if mps can't construct the 6 lanes then they should stop, besides mps used $1.2 billion to build the Tema port instead of 1.5 billion including Tema motorway and because npp has cancelled the construction of Tema motorway npp administration has pocketed the 300 million which was supposed to construct the motorway so Chale npp is a vampire party i tell you bro, where is Mr Mark Manu who is a board member of GPHA and mps respectively? He has even made things worse for GPHA. if yu don't know anything about something kindly don't jump into conclusion ok
