I tell you the younger new generations are simply alien to me. Why would anyone think that they would pivot away from "heat culture." Lol That's not something you flip flop about. It was never a marketing ploy to begin with. It was something marketing took advantage of. Heat culture is the spirit of this organization and has been for decades. No, Bam isn't. He's one of the main reasons the team has been in the play-in tournament for the last 2-years, but everyone wants to blame Jimmy the most.
Bam's 26 years old, and he can't even average 20pts per game. His defense isn't so special that it can make up for not being able to get more buckets in today's NBA

I saw dru smith out there last szn. He’s a 6’1 poa defender with a 6’7 wingspan and 40 inch vertical. Take away his name and he would steal be a heat product like the rest of the undrafted heat players

Main reason, he is the sone of LeBron, who when in Miami, wanted to be the President, the GM, the Coach and the player. Do you think, LeBron will not have a hand on his son's career? Or do the unimaginable just to have that control over a team for his/their personal gains... and then, if only, HEAT will still draft him, do you think he will not do an awful exit request? etc etc... so if the HEAT wanted a drama aside from basketball, be my guest...

The Heat will lose Caleb, Bryant, Love, Mills and run it back because no one wants Herro unless it's to trade role players. Lets look at free agents instead of trade scenarios plz. For example you add any of these players and it's an upgrade: Obi Toppin, Sam Hauser, Miles Bridges, Klay Thompson, Caldwell Pope (For defense) Saddiq Bey and Kelly Olynyk. We can add to our squad that way but do it before the season Riles!
Love and Bryant will most likely return. The Heat can salary dump Herro for picks and trade him to a team with cap space like SA, Det, Orlando, Utah, etc.
I say if the Heat wants to go after Mitchell, they should clear cap space for him and try to sign him as a free agent after next season.
I don't believe it's just a formality that Cleveland will just trade Mitchell if he turns down an extension offer this summer. They want to win with him and would want another year try to convince him to stay. They can always do a sign-and- trade deal and get something back for him after next season

That trade doesn't make sense, gents. You would have to offload Tyler and Rozier for Durant.
Heat need a scorer and with 2 defensive players in Bam and Jimmy, Durant can focus on only getting buckets.
Not to mention Durant and Jimmy contracts end around the same time so the Heat can sign 2 max stars to replace them.
KD is older than Jimmy, and although he played 75 games last season, he's been very injury-prone and missed a lot of games over the last several years. He makes a lot of money, and his best days are behind him. The Heat should hard pass on any older star players because their time is over now.
I'm not a big Embiid's fan, and he's injury-prone, but Bam for Embiid would make the Heat better. He's only 30. Yes, I know Philly wouldn't trade him unless he requested a trade

There is no such thing as “Heat Culture”. I always like to ask Heat fans, sincerely, does Heat Culture include taking the season seriously? Either you say yes in which case you should be critical of Butler and his attitude towards the season, or you say it does not and on its face it is a fraud.
The Heat had the best record in the conference 2 years ago.

In an Eastern Conference that was not very good. Besides the Celtics prior to this year the East stinks. The last two finals you made you were not favored for a reason and had no chance in either.
