Hey Mike I work for Befort and you really do need to come up to Washington and Oregon at some 150 180 bushel weed up there we're headed up there right now we're in Rawlings Wyoming should be there tomorrow night or maybe the next day hope to see you up there
That is one nice operation. These custom cutters spare no expense at all. Those JD X9 1100's are real acre eaters especially with a 50' platform on them. Awesome video Mike and again spot on drone footage!!😊👍🏻👌🏻
the guys running the x9s are pros gutting full width from one end to the other not running all over the field leaving 20 or 30ft pieces all over for the next guy to cut fuel is not cheap ho ever is paying for it and it also makes it a lot easier on the buggy operator.fun watching it done right.
They're fairly tramping on - Oh now you're telling us 7mph ! .. 50 bu/acre ! thats 2-1/2 tons - per acre ? - not bad at all , surely for the conditions + grazing and insufficient water. I'd be happy. BTW, Mike, any possibility of getting your take on the Tribines ? Cheers, Slàinte Mhath
That paddock looks dry enough to be here somewhere in Aus. In 2017-18-19 the East coast of Aus had the worst drought in over a century, many areas of the country didn’t get any crops in at all. Grain was being shipped from the Western side of the continent to the Eastern side to keep drought stricken cattle alive and to keep feed lots operating. That “dry” crop being harvested in your video would have been considered a top crop in that drought period . Regards from Down Under.
except that was no pasture where is the fence????????? that was a straight grain operation and that is the kind of wheat you get when you go wheat on wheat. would like to know what the fus % was on that cant have been good. Love the vid tho👍

I wonder why JD didnt design the two cross augers on the head to raise up a distance from the transverse belts so that the cross augers drives could be disengaged and just let the belts feed the feederhouse. There is no need to waste power driving the two augers for wheat and some of the other small grains crops.
Well if any state DOT inspectors watch this video and they are short of cash they can always pull a loaded Befort truck over for a spot check of the weight. Looks like around 95k on the one they show loading.
Mike my friend I work for john deere our big class 11 X9-1100 combine actually is rated at 690hp to 743hp wit 53hp power boost when dumping on the go from our new power tech 13.6 liter pss 830's diesel engines wit twin vgt turbo chargers our class 10 X9-1000 combine is rated at 630hp to 690hp wit 53hp power boost when dumping on the go wit our new 13.6 liter power tech pws 830's single stage vgt turbo charger wit the new high pressure common rail fuel system on the 13.6 liter deere changed out the injectors that was on our pervious 13.5 liter power tech pss 842's diesel engines the 13.6 is totally different monster of our power tech diesel engines it has a different torque and power curve than the previous 13.5 liter power tech pss diesel 842's engine our new 13.6 liter power runs at a low 1,900 rpm's compared to our previous 13.5 liter power run at 2,150 rpm's!!!
I always wonder why where duals seem standard on combines or wheels like the LSWs the manufacturers refuse to see the same combines over here on the same uprated axles given how harvest over here seems to either boggy or Sahara like plus more also growing autumn harvest crops like field beans which 90% of the the time is just boggy leading to either towing out or 360 digging out if on tracks.
Not really, Better to have too much than not enough. Especially when the get into hilly or soft terrain. Plus they need plenty of tractor for when a combine or truck gets stuck.
Looks a very poor crop, why is the stuble so green . Was at a crop watch day in Scotland today one grower said he is hoping to achieve 14 ton a hectare . I don't no what that means in Bushels but it is a big crop.
Not much of a show. A 7720 with 120 hp could do the same in those conditions. But the old cylender walker . Will pass that one if You add Kotia and lambs quarters. Think of the fuel.

I am very impressed with the climate in Oklahoma and the agricultural farms here are also wonderful
Great video Mike. I live not far from Alva near Enid. It’s been a tough year for the wheat growers but as usual they always persevere.
Great job again Mike.Another great use of double cropping wheat.May everyone have a psalm 65:11 harvest.God bless you all!
X9's are really a nice looking machine! Enjoy the look over the 6/700 series. Great shots as always, from what looked like a beautiful day out.
We were in Miami and Oklahoma a few weeks ago, that’s a beautiful part of the country.
Please get some footage of wheat harvest in the Palouse! Especially of "the wall" and the skyrockets near Prescott Washington.
This is a beautiful movie ! Well done ! Farmers are heroes !
X9 definitely my favorite combines in real life and farming simulator 22. Keep up the great work.
This mouth, first time a watch a harvest... It was great!
The amount of green regrowth was unbelievable

GREAT video, they make quick work of a field, 50 foot grain head, wow, impressive 👏 👍
went with befort harvesting in 99-01 we had 8 jd 9650 and 2 cats he has really grown running 20 plus combines today
great content as always Mike. how are the crops looking there around Greenville, Ohio
Awesome looking combines Mike
13:45-13:55 nice work mike 👍. Another great upload thanks
Wonderful videos thank you Mike Less
Awesome drone footage Mike
Big field, big combines, awesome video😁👍
Great video Mike what are the building’s in the background combines and grain cart setup are impressive pity about the late rain 🌧😊😂🇦🇺❤️
It is probably a compressor station for the gas wells/pipelines in the ares
great video Mike those x9 make my 9400 combine look like a toy. I live in hays ks were Befort is from .
Yes our old 9400's are babies compared to our big class 10 X9-1000 combine and class 11 X9-1100 combine

Well with these combines running GPS systems they pretty much drive themselves
Good video! Saw a cattle guard at the end of the one road but didn’t see any fencing. How do they graze without fence?
They put up a single strand electric fence in the fall after the wheat is seeded then take it down after pulling the cattle off.
My apologies I didn’t realize they were custom combine units nice ride

Be safe out there your buddy from Nebraska
Sweet farm machinery. Nothing runs like a Deere. If it ain't green... It ain't mean!!!
Pretty combine but I personally thunk the claas 8900 is got it beat. Just my opinion. Beutiful drone footage.
Hello! Those awesome X9s are from another league...
They are ridiculously big when you Stand by one of them

You say they run a lot of cattle on the wheat fields but I never see any fences bordering the fields just a observation 😎
Electric perimeter wires are easily put up and taken down
These machines are beasts. Enjoyed the video.
I farm in Oregon so it would be cool to see that!
Good video good to see you again
How come no hay comes out the back of it for baling afterwards, I expect see a line of Hay that is then collected and baled
Great vídeo Mike.
Love those X9 combines! Lots around here as well!
im runing and watch this right now on 2nd of july 3:00am and rain is moving in avg. 180 bushel to the acre . but we broad cast the wheat
Would you ever come to Minnesota to film the canning company picking sweet corn?
I’d be interested in that. I just don’t have any contacts for that in Minnesota
jeez what a setup
Combines and pump jacks. What's not to love?
a dull rotor? whats that
When the cattle are on the wheat for the winter were are all the fences to keep the cattle in the field .
They put up a single strand electric fence after seeding the wheat in the fall and take it down after they pull the cattle off in the spring.
@@farmhandmike ok thanks for the info.
Woo Hoo the horse song!!
Why don't they run draper heads?
Great video
Good wideo, nice movie.
Befort comes to our farm in July
I don’t know how they can afford this kind of equipment with crops like that wow
Yes another Mike less video on TH-cam from the imperial co California.
runing 4 x9s here in southern indiana .

DOT folks don't usually hassle the ag community. They know where their food comes from
@@louispaparella5766 Oh yes they do, I've had first hand experience.

Man, that wheat looked like Montana not Oklahoma, tough year
Sorry about that I should read my comments before I send them I meant wheat
Super filmik, ciekawa produkcja, dobre ujęcia!! KAWAŁ DOBREJ ROBOTY!!

Pretty rough looking fields .
Isn't that big tractor a bit of overkill for that Wagon? No need for such a big tractor, like any 300HP tractor would be just fine...
Not really, Better to have too much than not enough. Especially when the get into hilly or soft terrain. Plus they need plenty of tractor for when a combine or truck gets stuck.
@@farmhandmike Yea it makes sense in soft & hilly terrain.

14 ton = 466 bu of wheat. Hectare is about 2½ acres.

Are you a farmer do you have live on a farm
The straw sure gets poorly spread with these new huge headers ...not impressed at all
Ca depote
This video is a jd commercial..
Sad the big farmers are taking over and they hire southafricans that work for half the wages take it back to sf
finally shitty enough conditions these machines can hit over 4 mph without severe losses lmao.. 18 bushel wheat isn't much of a test
