Does it have a front locking diff? How high is the suspension lift? Are the struts and shocks Bilsteins like the regular PRO 4X or something like Fox or electronic controlled dampers like a ZR2 Colorado? Dude, you basically showed me my existing PRO 4X 2023 model. Minus the badges, coin and plaque by the shifter. It's just smoke and mirrors for another 10 grand USD they can keep it. My 2023 PRO 4x is the same thing.
Personally I wouldn't settle for the Forsberg edition the Pro 4X itself is just fine for me, from the Chicago Auto Show thank you Joe and Lori you're both awesome people along with Steven!

But for real, today’s cars are a lot different than these, maintaining the old school design is much more user-friendly for the average person. You may be able to work on turbo cars for sure, but not everyone has that luxury . Plus parts are readily available vs turbo cars.
What's curious to me about this one is that the new 24 Pro4X Frontiers are supposed to have matching lava red stitching and trim on the leather interiors. It was the 22-23 that kept it plain. Overall great edition, but spot on that interior needs to pop more

I wish they would have the stock rack like on the Xterras and the original Pro4X Frontiers. No drilling. No weird black straps holding it on. That was such a nice touch.

That looks like a 2022 just based on the inside. In 2023 they changed over to orange accents and stitching and they got rid of the 12v outlet in the center consol. And I don't think this is something you'll be able to order from the factory, this is something you would do after delivery. And that sticker plate is such a lazy touch.
When they have to continually emphasize, this is not just an appearance package or not just a graphics package really makes you question, well what is it? I just wish when they do these 10 grand packages 15 g packages. There’s actual things done to the engine the transmission the suspension whether it’s a truck whether it’s a sports car performance car whatever
I think it should have some kind mod on motor more hp in this one I got 33 on f150 and u can tell difference in the small ones so it takes some power 315 hp ant bad but 10k not worth it

That’s a little tight wow they just bloated well it looks good. It just needed a little bit more room in the back and after reliability is good then it no question.
Takes less than 10k to do a full Titan Swap with 3 way adjustable remote reservoir shocks and if you actually go offroad thats the way to go. Otherwise this is a good option if you dont want to void your warranty and are more concerned with looking like you go offroad instead of actually going offroad.
You’re pretty funny. They change the engine, but it’s no more fuel efficient. It has more horsepower, but the same amount of torque as the old engine. They put a nine speed automatic, but completely eliminate the manual transmission. The chassis and suspension are the same as the old ones, it’s a great truck now because it’s been a great truck for the last 17 years
I guarantee my Tacoma SR base model has seen more off road than any TRD pros, At4x, tremor, etc. You don’t need any of these 20,30k factory options to off road your truck.
OK, I like the dashboard I give them 40 maybe 45,000 if they reliability is good I might consider getting one of those in the next year. It has new Nismo off road springs and shocks, front and rear. A 1 1/2-inch Nismo lift kit, Nismo off road exhaust, and Nismo off road appearance parts as well.
It definitely has a lift and bigger tires lol the pro4x comes with 31.7 inch tires this one has 33 inch tires and im sure the shocks are bilstein not no name and the lights are probably ridged?

Got rid of my Fortier. 2012. It had 230,040 miles. It was just too old. Never cared to take care of it much. It was still running. But looking to get a new one.
I ve got the Frontier before and it last me 150k miles things start failed fall a parts. I went with The Tacoma and 17 years now and close 300k miles and still rock not turning back.
That truck look real good. I’m a very choosy person, but I’ll buy that if the price is right. and I like this truck to set up the way it is now if it don’t look like this, I wouldn’t buy it with the accessories on it. Nissan can take the show if they truck is reliable that’s what everybody looking for right now, reliable and the price is right.lol
$10k seems like a lot for air bubbles in the decals and a stick on badge by the shifter that fits poorly. Would be interested in knowing specifics on the suspension changes since that is what matters most.

Wish they´d do the same things with the rest of the lineup. And also that should´ve been done to the Titan! And now it just goes away quietly just like that. And I doubt it gets back in any form - for example as EV.
Except for the upgraded Cat-Back exhaust and real Beadlock wheels (wasted money), no way this cosmetic package is worth an extra $10k on top of a Pro-4X price. Not even a factory Brushguard or hard Tonneau cover for the bed is available.
No front lockers on this edition if you are going to make a special edition it should have more off road capability it also should have a winch on it I’m torn between this and the gmc canyon elevation it would have been nice to have grab handles on the pillars in the front those seats should have lumbar controls for the price of that truck no air ducts in the back seat for 50k this package is not worth it

Tacoma lost me with the turbo nonsense. I really like this new frontier, its hard to give up my GX460 but if I ever get a truck itll be Nissan this time. Frontier just seems like a nobrainer. I heard the newer titans have some issues though.

Oh and some decals. For half that you build a Pro4X to be better equipped.
Folks, in other parts of the world, Nissan & Toyota rules, especially trucks. Outside of USA/North America in general, Nissan trucks can handle some nasty roads that other brands' names wouldn't last. Nice job by Nissan with this Forsberg edition, I don't know if I would pay $50K. I do like the color combo with the wheels setup 👌🏾👍🏾
Lovely but I hate the no electric power steering. I telescopic steering wheel. The Frontier still is built off the 24 + years old platform/frame. For $5,000 more you can get a Ranger Raptor V6 Turbo.😊
Yes, the extra $10k is worth it 100%. I bought my first Pro-X4 after 40 years being loyal to Tacoma’s….received bad service from Mgr and Sales person who put bottom line over Customer Loyalty and Service, so I decided to return to Nissan Frontier land and happy and excited I made the jump!
Nissan needs to release a new Xterra Pro4-X based on the Frontier….and don’t forget the 6-speed manual transmission.

That’s a sweet truck with no gimmicks like twin turbos, still easy to work with for the average person if you’re mechanically inclined.

I have a 2022 Pro 4x and Love it, Didnt need a full size but still wanted some natural power. Nissan did great with these things.

Nissan knows this is their 100% within city limits only package, this truck 99.5% of the time will never leave dry asphalt.

Does the steering wheel wheel tilt and telescope? Tall people issues. At 6ft7 I read that it didn’t which is concerning.
It only tilts... most anything I've seen with tall dudes in it they've been able to properly adjust it.
What is the rear suspension? Leaf springs? Multi link with coils?

Never been a fan of the tracks in the bed. I've sliced my fingers on those things by mistake.
