I just find it so funny that Kit, when he was MAYBE 10, was allowed to curse freely on the shows/movies he was in
And yet in Heartstopper, he can't?? That's just hilarious to me
Like that scene during Harry's birthday party where Nick confronts Harry. Even if the show allowed a single F-bomb for the entire series, it should've been there.
In the book, he says "happy fucking birthday". I absolutely go feral at that scene in the show but adding that one F-bomb I feel like would've been amazing. (Granted, there is *technically* an F-bomb in the show, just not the "fuck" kind.)
It would be great if Nick could swear at least as much as Kit's younger character, but I'm def a fan of them keeping it G-rated enough to reach a broader audience (no matter how much Ben & Harry deserved the cursing out they get in the books).
