For me, the ideas in th-cam.com/users/postUgkxAfqpMLyFn37qcqUl0FAzqkkycQeXqrhP Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
Thank you for sharing! You did a great job. Some people on these comments are jerks, you do incredible work. I found this video valuable and am inspired for my Own DIY project in the future.
Very interesting because one after all feels productive and useful, but a carpenter's workshop will be requested. I mean it won't be perfect with simple tools. After all it is a creation.
Hey Ron, I don't know how professionals do it, but I designed everything on the computer in the smallest detail, as you can see in the first minutes of the video. I use Microsoft Visio.
The joints are a bit sloppy! A good test of a reasonable joint is that the joint should hold together when dry fitted. Most decent carpenters have to tap the joints together with a hammer to ensure a good fit. However, plenty of glue does wonders. The job looked OK when finished though. The only thing I would have changed to the design would have been to avoid the gap where the underside of the roof boards meet the wall. The rafters should have been flush with the top of the wall board. Looks like it was filmed in Spain - the Dexters brand is big out there.
Hi John. Thank you very much for your input. You are right about the gap where the roof boards meet the wall. The design was for a flush joint, but I guess I messed up a little with the angles at the diagonal reinforcement beam, and it threw me off a bit. This was my first major detailed wood work. I hope the next one will be much more precise. This is Romania, but indeed it has a Spanish atmosphere,. Dexter brand is promoted here by Leroy Merlin hardware supermarket. All the best!
Hi Isaac. Water leaks were not my concern, because it’s an outdoor canopy. Lucky for me, there are no leaks, even if it’s not water proof. There are water proofing techniques and materials that can be used, if this is necessary.

I love watching DIYers make amazing things without needing a shop full of fancy expensive tools. Nicely done!!!
Really, really nice engineering. No visible fasteners and most importantly, no ugly toe-nailing of the boards. Well done!!
It doesn't matter

If you use an Offset on the sides you dort need the big screws with the wood spigot.
Hey Thomas. You are right. I put them in case the wind tries to lift it up. I saw some powerful gusts around here.
Essa mesa é muito instável
I would be retaining some daylight if I do something like this.
Beautiful job! Also nice house and area. Is this in France?

How do you figure out all the angles and joints required for this
Hey Ron, I don't know how professionals do it, but I designed everything on the computer in the smallest detail, as you can see in the first minutes of the video. I use Microsoft Visio.
Se para en detalles cuando el armado principal de la estructura no lo mostró
👏👏👍👍

Looks like no waterproof flashing top right edge.
It doesn't need it.
The front needs a fascia board.
Hey there. Everyone has his pleasure.
Esta muy bien explicado pero el grosor de la madera de cuanto es?
45x95 mm

Gostei
Woooww
Lol “240mm” lets say that five times.
Two weeks?
Yes.
Of course, I didn't work continuously on it.
Is there a possibility of plans?
They are on the screen at 00:17
@@Racov Thank you for this great video. The plans at 00:17 are blur and I can't read the numbers. Could you share a better picture or a pdf?
