Curse of the Spawn was a sub series of the main spawn series. That told a different story each time. Each story was 4 issues long. This statue is based off the first story. It took place far into the future on a very shitty earth and told the story of this particular spawn. Another one of the stories took place during the time of the Greek gods and told the story of another spawn. The last one I’m aware of focused on Sam and Twitch and told the story of Suture.

Spawn is a badass character and this is a freaking badass statue. Very cool that another private company picked up this project and made an exclusive version.

I have been a big Spawn fan since Mcfarlane left Marvel to make his own comics and Spawn was his Frankenstein creation. Loved going to Toys R us and KB toys to get the theam spawn figures. This monstrosity of a Curse of Spawn statue reminds me of those days long gone. Gone along with KB and Toys R Us. This is one very large piece (that's what she said) for a Spawn statue. It has a lot going on, which is a very McFarlane still of doing things. This sculpture is very impressive and it doesn't disappoint. Best of luck and congrats to those that are able to get one of the exclusives. Very masterfully made.

Such a great statue. Wish they made more Spawn statues. Also, I absolutely love Yeti products for the exact same reason. If this product can keep water cold that long, I'll definitely be looking into them.

Wow😃 The first Curse of the Spawn statue was already epic and now they just raised the bar🤩 I think both statue are totally worth owning even if your not a fan of the comics. Only thing I'm not crazy about is that chain; makes it too busy and looks a little plastic-y to me. Minor complaint though overall.
Stronger greens on the blood would’ve been much cooler. Colour is a little dull overall, should have dull mixed with bright contrasts to be perfect.

IM treating this statue like my elf on the shelf, when it arrives. IM telling my kids he's watching them and I'll be displaying it all over the house. That might keep them in check. The cursed spawn will come after you if you dont behave. Although, my 2 year old is a bit scary her self. she might just be like let me help you terrorize my siblings. but 2 out of 3 is not bad.

I never bought a 1:3 scale but you convinced me with the previous Curse of Spawn. I was about to say No to it (I know this character, in my eyes the only thing he was missing were the bone barb wire chains) but when you told me the updated version is having them I caved in and got it. I kind of like it more without the cape but not a deal breaker (He wore it in the comics). What about that Scythe? Does it come with a regular hand too? I'd much rather use that one. I'd rather have him with a victorious pose, hands in the air, and chains flowing around

I skipped Curse of Spawn in the comics, from what I remember it wasn't Al Simmons. but anyway this is a great piece. I love watching these videos because I live through yous guys.
