It's crazy watching this guy play. Never seen anything like him. Ralph Sampson had some of what Wemby has going on, but Wemby seems so much more capable of using power on both offense and defense, and is even more talented with his ball handling than Sampson was. Maybe I'm wrong, but I also think that Wemby will benefit greatly from playing in a much less physical NBA era than many in the past. He's tough, but he is a rail and may have gotten just pushed around by the likes of Shaq and others when basketball resembled something more like football.
yeah the 3 point shooting era definitely lends itself to Wemby to be able to dominate, shaq and karl malone type builds would likely do well against him at this stage but the shaq type of player isnt as common these days so yeah, wemby is gonna be fun to watch
