@@jasongardener3425 hi Jason I’m interested in buying this mower for the wet grass everyone else’s video says it’s great in the wet but when watching yours you wasn’t overly happy with the mower in the wet hand on heart what would you say👍
Great video andy. I have used this machine for a year now aswell and I absolutely love it. Only issue I had was the roller slipping a bit. Specially towards end of the season. A few adjustments and it's ready to go. Bags amazing in the wet. Keep up the good work mate
Yes it really is a great mower and I like it alot, apart from the roller!!! 😂. ITS TOO SMALL IN DIAMETER which I'm sure is why it slips so easily. On wet grass it slides about all over the place and on bumpy lawns it slips which makes it harder to keep in a straight line or you have to give it a push to keep it going ... Have stihl (viking) designed it like this to improve the durability of the clutch and gearbox I wonder? 🤔 Small roller is easier to turn. Ok so most of the time this isn't a problem but compared with many other mowers I have used the roller is disappointing. Larger diameter with some ribs please STIHL because let's face it, most lawns are not perfectly flat.
Hi i love mine i only brought it this year i had a little problem with a missing bolt on the handle, that was fixed but today the hight adjust bar is out of wack with the actual height how did this happen and can it be fixed easy, tia
Bought mine in Sept 21 for commercial use and it’s been a nightmare on reliability. Stihl basically told me to get lost as it was being repaired under warranty which was no use to me as I couldn’t work without it every time it was repaired and refused to replace it. I’ve had repeated issues with the drive (3 times), handle bolt (2), throttle handle (3) and the front is too exposed and the throttle mechanism at the front has been damaged three times. I’d avoid getting one.
Hi mate been watching your vid and others brought one yesterday £1300 simply just doesn’t cut short enough my customers asked me if I cut there grass. Going back to the dealers tomorrow to take it back find the Pro Hayters cut better it does look a nice mower but won’t be any good for me unless you can lower the blade some way .
hi i have a honda izy 18inch deck, and at my age now im finding it harder everytime to lift in and out of the van, would you reccommend a change too the RM 655 RS as an alternative mower, as i am now looking too go to all battery operated machines.
I brought one a year ago , we didn’t use it much but it picks up well in wet , the silly plastic handle broke and took ages for dealer to sort out, it seems to have slowed down a bit lately and making a knocking noise and looks like bearings have gone both ends, ours won’t cut on setting one and setting two is a bit high I wouldn’t buy another that’s for sure
I have no doubt that it’s among the best lawn mowers out there but we’re nearing the year 2021; progress. Why would one consume 5 hours/weekly for pushing this stuff around instead of getting a robotic lawn mower?
@@Sthilboy56 ; they're expensive and don't last as long but the lawn looks always perfect and we're talking about one work month worth of hours saved. This lawn mower here is certainly not meant for fiddly areas; too heavy and big.

Hi, the simple answer is - The stripes. Robotic mowers are fantastic bits of kit. When the day comes that they can create lawn patterns, we will have one buzzing around that lawn 😀
🌞Wish these were available in the US. My dealer has the battery powered unit, and I wondered about the strength of the single handle. Thank you for explaining that. Wish I could get a Stihl sponsor. 😎
The mono handle is very well engineered. I am very lucky to be a STIHL am ambassador. It is a shame that this machine is not available to you guys - Do you stripe your lawn?
The Fully Charged Gardener - Yes, I recently purchased an Allett Kensington 20H this year and started a TH-cam channel as well. My Bermuda stripes fairly well.
Seems a good mower. I have seen complaints about it slipping in the wet, i just dont know why they didnt make the roller ribbed...so easy. Anyway, 3rd world problems I suppose 😅 kinda tempted to buy this just to use as mower for the wet. I have a toro prostripe as my main. Just subscribed!
