Rampage might be THE biggest Beast Wars Transmetal figure I've seen outside of Megatron or Optimal Optimus, a figure I wish I had when I was a kid. Keep up the great reviews Bert!
Great review! Thank you! I've had this figure since the late 1990s, and I absolutely love him. Now, if only I could get hold of the original Depth Charge for less than ridiculous money . . . .
We need legacy figures of rampage and depth charge. And rampage has to turn into the tank. 😂 I'm not sure how I've got my rampage standing, I don't want to touch him.
This is a throwback. My older brother had this one, Depth Charge and the Transmetal Megatron. We didn’t have access to the show but these were so enormous and elaborate that it didn’t matter. I do recall Rampage losing quite a bit of pieces and we had no idea how to transform him. I wish we’d get reissues of the Transmetal stuff. I’d love the chance to get to handle them again and display them on my shelf.
Rampage is one of the best Beast Wars figures even though he's the definition of "Kibble". Great Review as usual. I have to start digging in my parts boxes, I think I have an incomplete Depth Charge myself.
My cousin still has his original beast wars transmetal Megatron. He loved it so much growing up that you can't even see flaking or chipping on it, and it transforms smoothly. I myself was NEVER into beast wars or the insecticons but to each their own. This franchise has brought so many of us together in our love of these toys that it goes beyond nostalgia. I personally believe it takes us back to our childhood either the joy and innocence of youth, OR as an escape. But, no matter what reason it still holds our attention till today. I'm 45 but this past 2023 my wife and I lost our little furry feline baby and I never have grieved so much for an animal like I did him. During the grieving period I guess I had an emotional breakdown and reverted to my early childhood. I grew up with gobots Then Transformers back in 83-89 and lost All my toys due to foster care. And, so I found myself in an 80-2000's toy store and began building the largest collection of transformers that I could get my hands on I'm sitting close to 175 figures and that was just from march to December of 2023. I rarely buy new boxed figures and when I do they're opened immediately and I look up transformation videos and I sit and play with them. Childhood was a simpler time and even though not the best I always had my toys to escape to. I honestly don't know why I'm telling All this here but I truly feel like theirs a reason for each of us for why we love these Toys. I wish each and everyone of you a happy new year and pray it's 1000 X's better than last year.
@@BertTheStormtrooperhell yeah brother! Btw even IF you made depth charges tail I wish you Would do a video on him because figures from this time are hard if not impossible to find online I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. And tyvm Sir.
Hey, Bert! Just wanted to stop by and wish you a Happy New Year, and to check out this figure, since I didn’t follow or collect BW characters. Not a bad figure, it seems.
I've got this guy at home, and personally, I like to display him next to my Trans-Mutate figure. Your video showed me a step I was missing for getting the claws into place for tank mode, which I really appreciate! Unfortunately, the hip ball joints on mine are super loose... nothing some super glue can't fix, though. 😅
I also bought a BW Ultra class Rampage at TFCon Orlando, got him for 60 bucks too, he was labeled as complete, and well... he seems to be missing his rifle piece, which to be fair I never knew even existed, still a great figure but dang
@@BertTheStormtrooper y'know what, it too late for me, but I guess it's fine cause I don't recall a single time he even used the rifle in the show, just the cannon
You seem to have a case of crabs. There's a butter for that. Seriously though, it is a pretty neat figure. Big ole crab! Sweet review. Keep up the awesome. :)
I know Terminator had a shotgun firing large slugs, BUT,A Big bad robot with a shotgun is like having Bigfoot carrying a Beebee Gun. Kinda throws ya a little bit. Thankfully Hasbro has given better weapons to our transformers now 😅. Is it just me or does this guy have a Predator face complete with mandibles well 4 mandibles but still holy cow.

If you still have the fossilizer Transmutate, put her with Rampage on the shelf.
Excellent idea but I didn't get any of the Fossilizers.

Turn his claws downward a bit and they support their own weight for beast mode
