I've known the original creator is dead, and that we wont be able to see what he had envisioned for it, but I JUST realized while watching what that mean, like there is no "we'll possibly see it in the future one day" like shows that get cancelled can and have a chance of being brought back but rwby will never get to be what the creator envisioned, it died with him... and that's kinda very sad

Man.. people say a lot of stuff like how the show went down hill, story got worse, writing being bad just got more in your face and how all the characters lost what made them likable.. … and they’re right but the clear difference was that the earlier volumes just had this energy to it. Soul and it benefited from not taking itself too seriously. My opinion is that all of these valid opinions of the shows shortcomings really began when the show started to take itself seriously. What a shame. Hopefully viz media gives it a reboot with competent staff this time around.
This one isn't exactly "without context". The Volume 2 vid was better, as it was more out of context, but still. I could still picture the scenarios. However, 1:34 is out of context, you got that one right. Mostly cause of how the shot was done. I actually thought it was a normal sized feather. Watching the episode now, and seeing that clip, now that I have Ruby in those bushes for size comparison, yeah, that's a big feather.
