I usually buy from the counter. I get better luck that way. Two of the places have a big tv screen sitting on the counter that shows all the games and what ticket the game is rdy to dispense next. Other times I go to places where they have a big plastic case that shows the actual tickets. Very uncommonly I will use a machine. We have like 6 places that have machines that the player directly touches to get the tickets. One a walmart, some gas stations, and one a convenience-type store. This convenience store, the one I go to most, has a direct contact machine AND the big tvscreen on the counter. That's my bestluck place. I do better there on the counter, not the direct-contact machine. My other two bestluck places are a tobacco shop, and a Circle-K(gas station with another video screen on the counter showing the tickets available and there we have to tell the attendant what game number we want and how many.) It's the Circle-K, where I got my TWO five hundos. I couldn't believe they were both in July this year from the same place, AND from the same game!($500 MADNESS) it's a 5-dollar cost game here in IL

I work at a Kroger in Mississippi and we do 2/3 of our business from the machine and 1/3 from behind the counter. I usually load about 3-6 new packs per week into the machine and maybe 1 or 2 at the counter. I’d say we do ~$500/day in lottery sales total.
No lottery vending machines here in the UK🇬🇧 so it's at the counter each time, plus the new company who have taken over the lottery have put a cap from the 1st of October of only 10 cards can be purchased per transaction 🙄 . Good luck 🍀🍀
