For this video I ran a community post here on youtube and allowed you guys to create a custom pokemon in sword and shield with ANY moveset ANY ability and ANY held item. NO RULES. If you guys enjoyed let me know in the comments and we will do it again (:

Came here to day that. Big disappointed. I would have had a FIELD day running that monster. Whole reason i run an umbreon im my main team if i do competitive. Moveset being toxic/payback/curse/wish. Annoying as hell. Dbl battles were my speciality via eeveelutions. Umbreon + focus band/vaporeon + leftovers (scald/aqua ring/wish/calm mind). Jolteon/espeon/sylveon/umbreon/vaporeon/glaceon being the team.

That Chansey gave me ptsd of Dussy. Dussy, the most dark pokemon fusion creations of all time.
The fusion that was so OP that it had to be nerfed in order to exist in a video without it being an automatic win for whoever had it.
The Dussy... She was banned to the shadow realm and is now annoying Giratina for all eternity

I think that they're expecting their Pokémon to stay in and sweep instead of using hit-and-run tactics. I think they should look at those sorts of things as a situational laser; your team is walled by something, send it out and either hit it SE seriously hard or nail it with ESpeed and chunk it down.
a lot of things were good, but Zacian was bad, i think the guy who created it doesn't know Zacian is not a steel type, 120 base atk, even banded is not that strong, especially if it doesn't use a Stab Move, a regular Zacian would've been a lot stronger.
Hearing Quick say life orb, choice scarf and choice band arent his thing was wild.

It's clear they both don't know what good move+ability+item+mons are. Chandelure was cracked, illusion means it likely wouldn't get hard and if it does it would live and get a shell smash up and then substitute if he had the health then sweep.
Scizor had a useless swords dance but it was still busted, not to mention zacian and Chansey and the choice scarf Kyogre that they said was troll.
@@oakshrorgaming SD is not even useless, anyway, Knock Off is super common in singles, so it's not that rare to give your choice mons a setup move in case you lose your item, which happens quite a lot.

Even funnier when he forgot how the scarfs work. It literally says "powers up move but only allows for that one move to be used."

@@zeospark9715, those are the Choice Band (physical Attack) and Choice Specs (Special Attack)...as above, Choice Scarf boosts Speed. This means that Kyogre is likely going to outspeed nearly everything out there and be able to fire off Drizzle-boosted full HP Water Spouts for OHKOs.
That said, Quick's Kyogre was a little more devious, but requires some knowledge of the rules. His Kyogre was meant to come out, Trick the Scarf onto something (locking it into whatever move), then set up to sweep (since it doesn't have the Scarf any more, it's free to set up with Calm Mind)...but it can also double as a Scarfed Spouter, like Chilln's. Hell, it could come out early, sweep until checked, then switch out and switch to CM sweeper mode.
Glad at least my Ace Magmortar made a appearance in the video , he did not get his time to shine but i was still extreamly happy.thanks for the amazing video and the chance to be in it .

It's kind of funny how they both have no idea which items or builds are particularly powerful. They don't normally use items and maybe that should change. Also, what use could a Focus Sash with Setup Moves have? A mystery.
I'm honestly unsure of it myself. Shell Smash/Focus Sash, I can see...but Substitute?? The attack would have to take off 74% HP to have a chance to Sub. Using Substitute first turn, though, would then nuke your own Sash...
@@Alsebra Chandelure has two immunities. If it's masquerading as a pokemon you expect the opponent to use a normal or fighting move, you lay down your sub.
Ideally, they don't touch you. Your illusion is up and you have your sub. Shell Smash while they try to break it. Sweep with a lot more HP than if you had relied on the Sash (if you were relying on the sash, even a stray ice shard would kill you, but at 75% HP, you might even live a weaker Shadow Sneak/Aqua Jet Probably not a Marshadow Shadow Sneak tho 🤣)
Chillin Not understanding how strong that Miltank is is insane. You've been playing Pokemon for way too long to not understand it.

Not surprised my Nidoqueen didn't make the cut. It's a legal moveset with a natural ability, so it looks dull, but it's actually so versatile.
Earth Power, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, and Superpower gives you supereffective damage against 14 types. Superpower drops your physical defense, baiting physical hits that pop Poison Point, and the attack drop is mitigated because your other moves are all special. Plus, even though Nidoqueen isn't the best special attacker, Earth Power and Shadow Ball can both drop special d. And the capstone is Black Sludge for healing.
It's vanilla, not really OP, but it can still put in work.
Listen, I am so sad both chill and quick didn't realize some of the absolutely broken ways some of these pokemon could have been used lol
You guys should definitely do more rounds of this using the pokemon that weren't chosen.

They both are clearly not even slightly competitive. Chilling sees one of the most busted Chanceys ever and was like "meh." Quick sees life orb on Lugia with contrary and even though he was happy about the moveset and it being a Lugia I don't think he realized just how busted that Lugia actually was. Even the exploding Miltank with that ability and item is pretty strong. It's crazy how many pokemon they were like "meh" and it was one of the most op pokemon a person could create. Drove me nuts clearly lol

I genuinely do not understand - my brain legitimately finds it difficult to comprehend - how Quick can do pokemon battles for so long and have some of the takes he has. What's with the disdain for choice items? He switches all the time anyway!! For the longest time he was known as switchgg. And then first turn he gets a good mon OHKO'd because of a choice scarf. When he said "I don't get the big picture here" about the guaranteed shell smash chandelure... brother, the big picture is the guaranteed shell smash on an absolute cannon. It hurts to see. I love them but ohmygodddddddd they know nothing about pokemon. Is it on purpose? Are they trolling us?? It's difficult to spend years doing something constantly and know so little about it.
@@jamrodgers121 It drives me nuts too. Their logic behind what's good and what's bad seems to be something along the lines of "it has a BST over 500 with a STAB attack so it's busted" or "this mon's BST is under 500, therefore it's unusable." It's like they don't even understand how damage is calculated.
@sheer_1 even the supposed "trash volcanion" with essentially 100 power 100 accuracy stab move from a legendary in said sunlight/rain that also powers it up oh and eliminate 1 of its 2 weaknesses with volt absorb. Let alone getting a boost from it if someone attacks you with an electric move with it....
Both Quick and Chillin having zero idea of what is good competitively is exactly what I expect from my favorite poketubers

that mon's trash bro, there are at least 100 mons you can run Banded Espeed on that are better than that Zacian, no idea why people think it's good, it's not crowned form, it doesn't get attack boost upon entering the field. A regular gen8 Zacian crowned is much stronger that than thing.
They had good mons, but not the Zacian, that was pretty damn bad.

Videos like this remind me of young me. Sadly oblivious to the Pokemon with setup moves and defensive builds, if it is not an attacking move, it's trash no matter what. Nowadays, I see alot of potential in every build, evne with the Choice items.

You guys should do this type of videos where you try to give pokemon any abilities and moves more often, because It's more fun. And you guys don't have a really good knowledge of broken mons and how to use them properly, also about some of the items that you use, choice scarf is literally one of the best items in the game to ever exist(no offence). But it was a fun vid overall. Need to see more ideas like that

Challenge idea: Starters newlywed game
By turns you ask a question about yourself and write an answer, if the other person gets the same answer they get to pick the starter, if they don't then they get a starter of the asker's choosing.
Add skips if you like.
That Milktank was a straight Panzer From the Waffen ZZ...It gave Whitney PTSD flash backs, that thing would destroy worlds!

Challenge idea catch 8 random Pokemon with random moves and ability but u could switch around the moves and ability u think is best suited for that Pokemon but only the 6 Pokemon u choose for your team

I loved this one. I hate when battles feel one sided due to whatever bad luck the other got but this seemed very balanced and fun.

Donut is an interesting built. Getting stab on both weather effects while hiding behind a doll and healing. Very hard to take off the field while dishing out moderate damage.
This was such a great fight. I got genuinely excited by the little buddy and godlydos fights.
Haven't seen the fight yet but had to comment on some of the analysis of the pokemon submitted. That chansey was nuts, would have been essentially immortal. Also the complaints about mons with choice items seems wild to me as I consider them to be some of the best possible battle items. I'd like to see more videos like this really cool concept.
Day 5 asking for the evolution line challenge. Catch the first 8-10 Pokémon you see that are part of a 3-stage evolution line and generate a random number 1-3 to decide which evolutionary stage you get from that line.
Alternatively you could use some other criteria like you can have 3 fully evolved, 3 mid stage, 3 babies, to be decided upon catching each Pokémon.
Solgaleo and Lunala evolve from Cosmog and Cosmoem btw so they’re legal.

Chillin I’m Sorry, but that Chansy was straight from nightmares. Eviolite AND Fur Coat, no attacking moves but that was a sweeper. That thing could end relationships
Just for those who got confused about these 2 talking: at the end of the first turn the pokemon is on the field, the flame orb activates, only giving you the burn status, then the next turn and all other turns after that it makes you take damage from the status condition, the first turn is inly giving the status condition
My boy Shock Wave getting the praise made me quite happy. I wanted something fun and not OP. Sad to see he didn't get action, but the praise was enough!

You each pick the 1st 6 3- Stage babies, you get to evolve 2 of your choice to a mid stage, and 2 final stage so you'll have 2 babies, 2 mid and 3 fully evolve :)

People use set up moves while having a choice item is incase it gets knocked off which is common in competitive play

Video idea: Shuffle pokemons stats. For instance, hp -> atk, atk -> spd, def -> hp, spatk -> def, spdef -> spd, spd -> spatk. Catch 6 random encounters, 2 skips. You could get some disgusting lasers like blissey with hp -> (sp)atk or shuckle with (sp)def -> (sp)atk.
I'm thinking a part 2 would be nice of this! I know you got SO many submissions!

Here's an idea for you both:
Roll a D10/ Spin a Wheel
Whatever the number, you must encounter a Pokémon with something pertaining to that number (E.G. roll a 3 and encounter a Tauros which you catch because it has 3 tails).
Overworld encounter
Random Pokémon
Random abilities
Fully evolved
3 skips
Roll 10 sided die/ spin wheel with 10 numbers to determine feature of Pokémon to capture

Challenge idea. Pick starters based on trivia questions about each starter. For each starter ask a trivia question of each starter. If the other correctly awsners they get that pokemon as a their starter. If they don't get any of the questions right, the person asking the trivia questions gets to choose which pokemon the other one gets. You keep scored and whoever get more right gets to swap a pokemon with the other one. All random abilities and movesets. All pokemon fully evolved.
