I think why this 3-3 front is working so well is because they now trust their LBs to make plays if the running back bounces outside. Before, Baker and Dodson were really struggling to get off of blocks and maintain good leverage on the RB, so the 5-tech probably needed to set the edge to try to funnel the RB towards inside help. But now, the help *is* (will be) on the outside with players like Spoon, Ernest Jones and Knight maintaining good leverage and pursuit, so the 5-techs and others on the d-line are able to just cause as much chaos as possible on the interior without as much concern for setting the edge.
Spoon’s ability to adjust from his assignment to another one that impacts the play seems, for lack of a better term, next level. Had no idea how he affected the pick 6 until watching this.
I watch different channels for their specific reasons but LOVE your no nonsense, no try hard, no trying to be funny and energetic to fit a mold, type of videos as a grounding, analytical balance from a 3rd party non Seahawks fan bias.
Amazing breakdown, keep 'em coming. Would gladly see your opinion on Murphy. Our fanbase hasn't completely welcomed the impact that he has on stopping the run and impacting his teammates rush success, a breakdown from someone that dissects the situation in detail would be very informative and interesting.
Great film study videos. I’m learning a lot. Big Cat is dominant and violent and the trading for EJ4 will be John’s 2nd best move of this season. Spoon is next level. Now if we could just hire a run game coordinator ffs 🤦🏼♀️
Thanks for the breakdown on the 3 - 3 ... and oh how history repeats itself. Hawk fans - does that not look like the front the Carroll's Hawks ran? With Bobby and KJ as the 2 Backers and Kam Chancellor moving up to be that 3rd element against the run. And add Bruce Irvin as that OLB. Kam was the piece that really made that front amazing.
Great video. I get so jealous when l see players on other teams making intelligent plays! That coach on your pictured on your heading sould be the h.m.i.c. for the purple birds!
Isn't it just crazy how Leonard a Williams has only been here for a couple of months, and he's garnered more good attention than ANY OTHER PLAYER on the D- team.
I need to go back and check the film but I feel certain I remember seeing Leo get a pass deflection on that glitch blitz against Arizona and thinking to myself "wow, he probably could have picked that if it bounced a bit different" And wouldn't you know, just the next week he houses one.
The key to this defense is you don’t know who’s coming and dropping back. If you look at MacDonald’s defense with Ravens last season it’s what made it great. The QB pressures help add to that too
What does a defensive "player of the week" win? What does a defensive player of the year win? Is it just the name of title or do they win money? I've never had these 2 things so much ever before as I have the past 2 weeks.

@@geephlips 2 weeks in a row he did that

Some of my favorite film breakdowns thank you
I hope to see your observations on how Sataoa did yesterday.
Definitely make a Byron Murphy video please
leo williams just crazy over 300 pounds returning a pick for 92 yards
On a separate note, I propose the name Trout blitz. Tackle Rushes, then OUT. Plus fits with trout/salmons importance to the PNW region
Great content on Leo and the defensive line!
Thanks! I would also love a Murphy video.
Awesome video as always! :) go hawks!
Such great film breakdown, Im glad I ran into your videos. People wondering why i’v rostered Sione Vaki on and off all season.

Oh man, 4D chess with this coach! If only we had someone for the offense....
if we had even a mediocre run blocking OL this offense would be elite.
I note that Rodgers, himself, stood and watched as Williams intercepted the pass and ran the length of the field. Great team guy.
Big Cat is dawg .
Lets go. Big Cat is leading the pack. Go Hawks.
I think the switch at ILB helped the defense the most so everyone else can do their job

@@ericplummer4089 I love Coach Mike! Sorry we stole him from you, but I do appreciate him🙏

The glitch blitz... Do other teams run this? I don't study the Ravens, but curious if that play is still in their playbook?

Big Cat fired or boys UP!!
Wait till Byron Murphy gets comfortable.. and Nwosu coming back

Lowkey shane waldron wouldve cooked better with this offense than grubb. Atleast we could run the ball back then. 🤦🏽♂️
Thx coach best breakdowns on the net 🏈🟢🔵
