I am Theravada buddhist, I know that the Dalai Lama just being playful to the kid. But, buddhist monks are not allow to sing, dance, tease and not even get near or touch female. I am not sure if Lama and buddhist monk follow the same displinary code given by the Buddha. I pray that the Dalai Lama would consider following Buddha’s displinary code in the future. So these thing never happen again🙏
You may need to understand Mahayana Buddhism too. The mahayanists should use skillful means with clear intentions to help other sentient beings, not only about strict disciplines.
