아이유는 책을 많이 읽어서 그런가 가사도 너무 잘쓰고... 그냥 준비하지 않아도 술술 말을 너무 잘함. 하고싶은 이야기를 그냥 풀어놓는 것 같은데 뭉클하고, 색다른 시각이라 재미있고. 공연장에서나 방송에서 너무 과장하지 않아도 담담하게 말하는 게 재미있고. 타고난 이야기꾼 같음. 팔색조라는 말이 그래서 더더 잘어울리는 아티스트. 언어적으로 강한 게 팀을 이끌어가는데에도 프로듀싱하는데에도 도움이 돼서 모든게 물 흐르듯 잘 제어하는 게 느껴지고 대중과나 팀 내에서 소통 잘되는 것이 넘 잘 느껴짐.

너무 지쳐서 쓰러지고만 싶은 날이었는데 언니가 날 눈물나게 행복하게 만드네요. 오늘만큼 선물같은 느낌의 아이유티비는 없었던 것 같아요. 서울콘 이틀에 마음 아픈 일까지 있어서 정말 힘들었을 텐데 쉬지도 못하고 또 이틀의 공연을 했다니 조금 걱정스러웠지만 언니가 행복해 보여서 다행이에요ㅎㅎ 오늘 언니가 만들어준 행복만큼 언니에게 행복을 돌려주고 싶어요. 늘 사랑해요💙💜💚

I'm very grateful to see how comfortable iu with her team..her bodyguard,manager,ad all of her team are very nice as a friend to her..i'm grateful because i had see a video that most kpop idol have a hard manager and like to control them
IU is special case. From start she is from small company (LOEN renamed Kakao M later). She was the main income source to that company. They treated her very well. IU herself has been making most of the decisions regarding her career last 10 years. IU and all of her team (around 40 people) moved to EDAM in the beginning of this year. EDAM is new company founded by IU's first manager (still one of her four managers). I'm pretty sure IU is co-owner of this company. In practice it's IU's company, trust me IU doesn't have hard managers.
Actually they feel like a whole family...when she was playing the car....and everyone was watching her . It felt like family members looking at a child at adoring it❤️❤️❤️

I watched hyoris b and b where iu was a cast, and seeing her there with much peace of mind and not as busy as she normally is makes me think that she deserves more times like those. She even said that she fell in love with hyori and sang soon's lifestyle and her busy life at seoul was something she doesn't like all the time since she couldn't make friends that often because of work, but she chose this lifestyle and she also has people who she can have fun with.

I am so proud to say I went to Taipei concert Day 1. I flew from New Zealand with just 3 days of day off, I squeezed it all in to be able to watch the concert. Mind you, I am Filipino and has zero knowledge about Chinese language. From night shift finishing at 8AM, I went straight to airport and flew to Taipei-pretty much slept in the plane the whole journey. Arrived around 7PM, checked in and showered. Went to a night market. Had some food and drink. Went back to my hotel and slept. Day 2 - woke up early, checked out from my hotel. I carried all my stuff in my small Fjallraven backpack-good for the whole trip. Went to the city and checked out 101 bldg. had food and drink. Shopped a little. Went to Chiang Kai Shek shrine. Took a train to the airport. Put my bag in a locker, only had necessary things. Took a train to the concert venue. Walked a little towards the venue. Saw a lot of people going to the same direction. Saw posters and cute glow sticks signaling me that indeed I am about to see IU live in concert. My heart’s calm. I observed the foreign place with all of its unfamiliarity. When I finally got in, the stage was right in front of me. I picked the best seat - centered and upfront. IU came out, I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience. It was so surreal seeing IU sing live. I was calm, I wasn’t screaming. I sang along. I believe my seat mates were probably irritated that I kept singing along. I stopped and told my self to listen and stop singing, once in a while I couldn’t resist-it’s my Pinoy blood in me. My seat mates were so quiet, they show appreciation but not as noisy as Kiwi crowd or Pinoy crowd. Also, I did not understand the whole convo that was going on because Iu speaks Korean and it was interpreted in Chinese. Some of Korean phrases I do understand but I’m mostly lost in translation. It did not stop me from enjoying the show though. It was really daebak! After the concert I rushed out. IU was already in her mufti/civilian clothing. It was almost over. Encore as they call it. She was about to sing one more song-I believe to be the last song. She was still chatting away. Such a chatterbox. I didn’t want to run in the middle of her singing so while she was chatting-I stood up and ran for the exit. I was the only one who ran. I hope she saw me. Haha. I didn’t wanna do that but I might miss my flight back to NZ if I didn’t. So I was out of the building. There were lot of taxis waiting. I asked them to drive me to the airport. They all spoke to me at once in Chinese . It was chaotic. They told me the fare. I had to rush to the ATM to withdraw some cash. As I was doing it, my heart was racing like hell. The ATM didn’t work. One driver said you can use your card to pay- he said it using two words “card ok”, best words I’ve ever heard if you asked me. So we drove towards the airport. The smell of the cab, the level of stress I put myself under and my suspicion that maybe something dodgy was happening in the cab (you know bad taxi stories in Pinas) - makes me want to pass out. I fought that tiredness and wanting to pass out, so freakin’ hard. Thank heavens we arrived at the airport. He swiped my card probably 3-5x. Didn’t work. DID NOT WORK. At this time, my adrenaline is starting to kick in again. Out of nowhere I told him, follow me inside. He left his car on the side road of the airport-which is illegal as you may know. Good thing it was in the middle of the night. He ran with me, at this point I already know where to go as I have memorized the airport when I was there earlier that day. Quickly withdrawn cash, gave it to him. He was happy. I was happy. I said xie xie. He ran back to his car. I ran to my locker. Took my backpack. Ran to the checkin counter. Made it to the waiting lounge with 15mins to spare before the actual boarding. Arrived in NZ. Showered and slept. Went to work the next day, morning shift. THAT WAS MY BIRTHDAY GIFT TO MYSELF. AN IU CONCERT TICKET. I didn’t regret it. But I should probably give a bit more days off for it. That’s my IU concert story. What’s yours?
Wuah.., that is an incredible story. I'm sorry for my bad english, i'm from indonesia and I have never watched an IU concert, but I already saved up. So I hope this year I can watch her concert.. wish me luck

I suggest you go to Indonesia concert or either Singapore/Manila, so you wouldn’t miss any of IU’s commentaries because in Indonesia, they would naturally translate it to your language and Singapore/Manila is translated to English. But if you know Korean or Chinese then you shouldn’t have any problems. 💪🏼😁💜
I had a similar experience 🤣 relate much. A day before the concert i woke up 3am for work my shift is until 12nn then went home to pack my things since i was a bit busy with a lot of things before the concert. I plan to take a nap even for just 2-3hrs but i’m too excited to sleep so i gave up. I went to the airport 10pm my flight is 1am. When i arrived in Manila airport i waited outside 3hrs for the bus that will go straight to Araneta. I need to check the area to be familiar and my check in time will be 12nn i went to the ticketing office to get my physical ticket and the photo card. A lot of people still waiting for the standing area to be available so they can get a ticket. I also went to the coffee shop that if you buy coffee you will get a photo card.😅 crazy me! thinking this while in the coffee shop becoz if people who knows me will saw what i’m doing will not believe that it’s me doing this things.🤣 they know me as someone who doesn’t really care about others specially celebrities.😅 I’m still the same but IU/Jieun is an exception. Don’t get me wrong I admire some celebrities but not to the extent that i will go extra mile just to see them. 9am when i decide to go to the condo unit where i book the airbnb room but i can’t check in until 12nn so i waited in 7/11 for 2hrs. From Araneta i ride taxi to the condo but he brought me somewhere else later he said he’s not familiar with the address🤦♀️🤷♀️! i ride another taxi and same thing happened. 🥺 so i saw tricycle and ask if he knows the address and he said yes it’s just around Araneta a walking distance and i went to far but he said i’ll bring you to the place. He just ask the exact amount of the fare but bcoz i’m thankful i payed more.😅 After i check in i shower and i still have enough time to sleep but decided not to.😅 I might miss the concert if i won’t hear the alarm. I love to travel around the country and abroad but with friends since i’m bad with directions 😂. It’s my second time to travel alone but i remember calling my best friend in the middle of my first time saying i will not do it again as i’m super bored. it’s fun to talk to someone about the funny things that happened in your travel and you have someone to take your pictures. I’m introvert like IU i don’t initiate conversation to strangers i’m not shy but i feel awkward with small talks around strangers.😅 Around 3:30pm i prepare to go to the venue and according to the condo guard it’s just a walking distance so i just followed the instructions he gave. I just smiled remembering the experience i had to find the address earlier. When i arrived in the venue i saw a lot of people and i was happy inside as i thought before i’m the only fan she have in our country 🤣 foolish me! I want the VIP but sad it was sold out right away instead i got the second best area. I did not feel that i’m tired and hungry everything feels like a dream. I even talked to the person next to me like were super close and realize when i arrived in my room after the concert that i forgot to ask her name🤦♀️🤣😅! The crowd in the Philippines is super great we don’t know each other but feels like we are connected. Our fanchants is on point “actually its a my way fanchants “ we just created it on our own since we know the song but not familiar with the official fanchants.🤣😂🥰 Happy to see IU enjoy and satisfied with the concert. I’ve waited for a decade to see her and hear her live and it’s all worth all the money, trouble and effort i made from booking the ticket, no sleep for 48hrs, getting lost, uncomfortable with traveling alone. i forgot everything when i saw her. I just want to see her at least once but i realize in the concert seeing her once is not enough. I enjoyed everything!🥰 After the concert i realized i did not have dinner and i’m about to pass out so while walking to the condo i’m still not myself i bought food in 7/11 eat and pass out. I woke up the next day 11:30 and rush to shower since my check out time is 12nn and travel back since i have work early in the morning the next day. I did not even have time to absorb everything.😅 This experience is also my birthday gift to myself. To people who did not saw her yet i guarantee it’s all worth it.🥰

I'm very grateful to see how comfortable iu with her team..her bodyguard,manager,ad all of her team are very nice as a friend to her..i'm grateful because i had see a video that most kpop idol have a hard manager and like to control them
IU is special case. From start she is from small company (LOEN renamed Kakao M later). She was the main income
source to that company. They treated her very well. IU herself has been making most of the decisions regarding her career last 10 years.
IU and all of her team (around 40 people) moved to EDAM in the beginning of this year. EDAM is new company
founded by IU's first manager (still one of her four managers). I'm pretty sure IU is co-owner of this company.
In practice it's IU's company, trust me IU doesn't have hard managers.

I watched hyoris b and b where iu was a cast, and seeing her there with much peace of mind and not as busy as she normally is makes me think that she deserves more times like those. She even said that she fell in love with hyori and sang soon's lifestyle and her busy life at seoul was something she doesn't like all the time since she couldn't make friends that often because of work, but she chose this lifestyle and she also has people who she can have fun with.

I am so proud to say I went to Taipei concert Day 1. I flew from New Zealand with just 3 days of day off, I squeezed it all in to be able to watch the concert. Mind you, I am Filipino and has zero knowledge about Chinese language. From night shift finishing at 8AM, I went straight to airport and flew to Taipei-pretty much slept in the plane the whole journey. Arrived around 7PM, checked in and showered. Went to a night market. Had some food and drink. Went back to my hotel and slept. Day 2 - woke up early, checked out from my hotel. I carried all my stuff in my small Fjallraven backpack-good for the whole trip. Went to the city and checked out 101 bldg. had food and drink. Shopped a little. Went to Chiang Kai Shek shrine. Took a train to the airport. Put my bag in a locker, only had necessary things. Took a train to the concert venue. Walked a little towards the venue. Saw a lot of people going to the same direction. Saw posters and cute glow sticks signaling me that indeed I am about to see IU live in concert. My heart’s calm. I observed the foreign place with all of its unfamiliarity. When I finally got in, the stage was right in front of me. I picked the best seat - centered and upfront. IU came out, I felt like I was having an out-of-body experience. It was so surreal seeing IU sing live. I was calm, I wasn’t screaming. I sang along. I believe my seat mates were probably irritated that I kept singing along. I stopped and told my self to listen and stop singing, once in a while I couldn’t resist-it’s my Pinoy blood in me. My seat mates were so quiet, they show appreciation but not as noisy as Kiwi crowd or Pinoy crowd. Also, I did not understand the whole convo that was going on because Iu speaks Korean and it was interpreted in Chinese. Some of Korean phrases I do understand but I’m mostly lost in translation. It did not stop me from enjoying the show though. It was really daebak! After the concert I rushed out. IU was already in her mufti/civilian clothing. It was almost over. Encore as they call it. She was about to sing one more song-I believe to be the last song. She was still chatting away. Such a chatterbox. I didn’t want to run in the middle of her singing so while she was chatting-I stood up and ran for the exit. I was the only one who ran. I hope she saw me. Haha. I didn’t wanna do that but I might miss my flight back to NZ if I didn’t. So I was out of the building. There were lot of taxis waiting. I asked them to drive me to the airport. They all spoke to me at once in Chinese . It was chaotic. They told me the fare. I had to rush to the ATM to withdraw some cash. As I was doing it, my heart was racing like hell. The ATM didn’t work. One driver said you can use your card to pay- he said it using two words “card ok”, best words I’ve ever heard if you asked me. So we drove towards the airport. The smell of the cab, the level of stress I put myself under and my suspicion that maybe something dodgy was happening in the cab (you know bad taxi stories in Pinas) - makes me want to pass out. I fought that tiredness and wanting to pass out, so freakin’ hard. Thank heavens we arrived at the airport. He swiped my card probably 3-5x. Didn’t work. DID NOT WORK. At this time,
my adrenaline is starting to kick in again. Out of nowhere I told him, follow me inside. He left his car on the side road of the airport-which is illegal as you may know. Good thing it was in the middle of the night. He ran with me, at this point I already know where to go as I have memorized the airport when I was there earlier that day. Quickly withdrawn cash, gave it to him. He was happy. I was happy. I said xie xie. He ran back to his car. I ran to my locker. Took my backpack. Ran to the checkin counter. Made it to the waiting lounge with 15mins to spare before the actual boarding. Arrived in NZ. Showered and slept. Went to work the next day, morning shift. THAT WAS MY BIRTHDAY GIFT TO MYSELF. AN IU CONCERT TICKET. I didn’t regret it. But I should probably give a bit more days off for it. That’s my IU concert story. What’s yours?

I suggest you go to Indonesia concert or either Singapore/Manila, so you wouldn’t miss any of IU’s commentaries because in Indonesia, they would naturally translate it to your language and Singapore/Manila is translated to English. But if you know Korean or Chinese then you shouldn’t have any problems. 💪🏼😁💜

I had a similar experience 🤣 relate much. A day before the concert i woke up 3am for work my shift is until 12nn then went home to pack my things since i was a bit busy with a lot of things before the concert. I plan to take a nap even for just 2-3hrs but i’m too excited to sleep so i gave up. I went to the airport 10pm my flight is 1am. When i arrived in Manila airport i waited outside 3hrs for the bus that will go straight to Araneta. I need to check the area to be familiar and my check in time will be 12nn i went to the ticketing office to get my physical ticket and the photo card. A lot of people still waiting for the standing area to be available so they can get a ticket. I also went to the coffee shop that if you buy coffee you will get a photo card.😅 crazy me! thinking this while in the coffee shop becoz if people who knows me will saw what i’m doing will not believe that it’s me doing this things.🤣 they know me as someone who doesn’t really care about others specially celebrities.😅 I’m still the same but IU/Jieun is an exception. Don’t get me wrong I admire some celebrities but not to the extent that i will go extra mile just to see them. 9am when i decide to go to the condo unit where i book the airbnb room but i can’t check in until 12nn so i waited in 7/11 for 2hrs. From Araneta i ride taxi to the condo but he brought me somewhere else later he said he’s not familiar with the address🤦♀️🤷♀️! i ride another taxi and same thing happened. 🥺 so i saw tricycle and ask if he knows the address and he said yes it’s just around Araneta a walking distance and i went to far but he said i’ll bring you to the place. He just ask the exact amount of the fare but bcoz i’m thankful i payed more.😅 After i check in i shower and i still have enough time to sleep but decided not to.😅 I might miss the concert if i won’t hear the alarm. I love to travel around the country and abroad but with friends since i’m bad with directions 😂. It’s my second time to travel alone but i remember calling my best friend in the middle of my first time saying i will not do it again as i’m super bored. it’s fun to talk to someone about the funny things that happened in your travel and you have someone to take your pictures. I’m introvert like IU i don’t initiate conversation to strangers i’m not shy but i feel awkward with small talks around strangers.😅 Around 3:30pm i prepare to go to the venue and according to the condo guard it’s just a walking distance so i just followed the instructions he gave. I just smiled remembering the experience i had to find the address earlier. When i arrived in the venue i saw a lot of people and i was happy inside as i thought before i’m the only fan she have in our country 🤣 foolish me! I want the VIP but sad it was sold out right away instead i got the second best area. I did not feel that i’m tired and hungry everything feels like a dream. I even talked to the person next to me like were super close and realize when i arrived in my room after the concert that i forgot to ask her name🤦♀️🤣😅! The crowd in the Philippines is super great we don’t know each other but feels like we are connected. Our fanchants is on point “actually its a my way fanchants “ we just created it on our own since we know the song but not familiar with the official fanchants.🤣😂🥰 Happy to see IU enjoy and satisfied with the concert. I’ve waited for a decade to see her and hear her live and it’s all worth all the money, trouble and effort i made from booking the ticket, no sleep for 48hrs, getting lost, uncomfortable with traveling alone. i forgot everything when i saw her. I just want to see her at least once but i realize in the concert seeing her once is not enough. I enjoyed everything!🥰 After the concert i realized i did not have dinner and i’m about to pass out so while walking to the condo i’m still not myself i bought food in 7/11 eat and pass out. I woke up the next day 11:30 and rush to shower since my check out time is 12nn and travel back since i have work early in the morning the next day. I did not even have time to absorb everything.😅 This experience is also my birthday gift to myself. To people who did not saw her yet i guarantee it’s all worth it.🥰
