Do you ever discourage clients with hair like this from locks? I mean if they’re not able to maintain their locks and are willing to allow it to get in this state maybe this is not for them. I just remember even seeing a picture where someone cut off the locks and the amount of build up and bacteria sitting in the locks were astounding. I think some people don’t realize that Locks still take maintenance... even free form.
I don't understand. So, she was walking around looking like that in the before picture? Edit to add: if you don't take care of your real hair LOCED why would she want to add some loc extensions? I don't get it.

Thank you for what you do and sharing your talents with us.
I hope she paid you very well because I'd be so mad seeing that my client has just completely neglected their hair... If you can't take care of your locs you shouldn't have them
I did this with my kid cousin's hair. He told his mom he wanted his hair cut but she was adamant about keeping his hair. It took about 6 hours because the child was screaming crying from all the snapping. My mother in law called his mom and said if you ever ask my daughter in law to do this again I'm shaving his head myself. He did have a retwist for a little over a year before I touched his head. Never will I try to do that again.

Your work is amazing and I love your method of keeping hair maintenance simple with just oils and water. I feel for your client many "loctician" will start a person's hair with a horrible foundation and too much product and not ask to see them again until 2-3 months out. Their only instructions is to "oil your scalp and don't wash your hair until I see you again." When you come back our hair looks like your clients. Again great work... Not to put you or your clients businesses out there but can you give a vague amount of what you charged for this transformation.

The sound is not too low. It's difficult watching videos where they have the music blasting and you can't even listen to the person talking because it's so distracting or too loud

Every 2 weeks at least, and loctician should be able to fix those that may or may not have came loose within that time by the next appointment. The process can be faster or slower for individual cases, but this right here could have been avoided.
