A servants power is determined mainly by 4 things. Age, fame, mystery, and lore. Eh the dude is a beast. But the vast majority of his impressive feats are all due to the amount of a buff he receives from Medea’s magic. It’s the only thing that really lets him keep up with servants without it he stands no chance. We see this as in UBW once Medea is dead Archer completely fodderised him. Even then his impressive feats such as killing Rider and getting the drop on Saber are all due to him having the element of surprise. As once Saber recovers he makes the decision to retreat with Medea, as he knew he no longer held the advantage and wouldn’t have won. So as a Human even with out Medea’s buffs the dudes a bit of a monster and is incredibly lethal in first encounters, but his best feats are all 100% due to the ridiculous Amp Medea’s magic gives him, without it Medusa and Saber would have destroyed him.
Well the magic buffs are merely required for the additional power needed to hurt a servant in the first place due to their body being dozens of time stronger than a normal human by default, think of it as a form of reinforcement but with a few twists. His skills and Technique however ARE the thing truly responsible for him catching up with the servants, he litteraly becomes a False Assassin servant with the buffs, you dont put that against something like Hercules, and id be willing to bet that Artoria is stronger (in stats) and even Archer Emiya despite his terrible stats could match it (though in a fight of skill Archer would have the upper hand anyway because the element of surprise is less effective when you have someone that can smell you coming, see you coming from the other side of the city, and expects someone to attack at every moment)

Eh the dude is a beast. But the vast majority of his impressive feats are all due to the amount of a buff he receives from Medea’s magic. It’s the only thing that really lets him keep up with servants without it he stands no chance.
We see this as in UBW once Medea is dead Archer completely fodderised him.
Even then his impressive feats such as killing Rider and getting the drop on Saber are all due to him having the element of surprise. As once Saber recovers he makes the decision to retreat with Medea, as he knew he no longer held the advantage and wouldn’t have won.
So as a Human even with out Medea’s buffs the dudes a bit of a monster and is incredibly lethal in first encounters, but his best feats are all 100% due to the ridiculous Amp Medea’s magic gives him, without it Medusa and Saber would have destroyed him.
Well the magic buffs are merely required for the additional power needed to hurt a servant in the first place due to their body being dozens of time stronger than a normal human by default, think of it as a form of reinforcement but with a few twists.
His skills and Technique however ARE the thing truly responsible for him catching up with the servants, he litteraly becomes a False Assassin servant with the buffs, you dont put that against something like Hercules, and id be willing to bet that Artoria is stronger (in stats) and even Archer Emiya despite his terrible stats could match it (though in a fight of skill Archer would have the upper hand anyway because the element of surprise is less effective when you have someone that can smell you coming, see you coming from the other side of the city, and expects someone to attack at every moment)
@@alispeed5095 I did give him respect though? I literally say as a normal human dudes still a beast. But everyone’s giving HIM the credit for fighting servants when it’s not his power letting that happen it’s Caster’s.
There’s no denying his skills the fact that he’s so lethal on a first encounter is nothing to scoff at. But his strength that everyone’s raving about is coming from Medea, pair that with the surprise factor he gets due to being a “normal” human is the reason why he’s got feats of him overwhelming servants, because none of them were expecting such power from him. But like I pointed out the moment a servant survives his first strike it’s GG and he needs to retreat.
I mean compare him to Shirou who was able to momentarily hold his own against an Amped Kuzuki using just his own power. Now imagine how strong Shirou would be if HE were amped by Medea. See my point? There’s plenty of characters that if Medea were to amp would be just as impressive if not more so than Kuzuki.
Again I’m not denying his skill he’s incredibly lethal on a first encounter, but his best feats are only made possible by Medea and if the servants knew Medea’s master was amped and a crazy Assassin then I guarantee NONE would lose to him. He’s a 1 trick pony, he uses the element of surprise to catch them off guard if that fails he’s screwed.

They share many similarities, same style of close combat fighting and even their names resemble each others: Soujuurou Shizuki (with the kanji for "ten" in his name) and Souichirou Kuzuki (with the kanji for "one" ).
