Btw, I blended fresh Chinese almond (sweet n bitter almond) for the almond flour and it smells exactly like the Macau almond cookie. Unfortunately, as few others had mentioned, the cookies stick to the teeth. If this puzzle can be solved then it will be perfect. I tried baking twice. First time I added to much water and second time too little water. 😂Overall the taste was good. Thank you for sharing the recipe.

Are you sure it's not almond flour that you buy in supermarket by Bob's red mill. Its ground up almonds. Maybe you can show us a picture or a link to buy almond flour or mung bean flour.
i use a wooden mould, dust with mung bean flour, but the cookies all broken when i knocked it out. very difficult to remove from mould. any tips? it is very crumbly, i add more water and oil, but the cookies become a chewy.

Yes you are correct. You either use the 杏仁茶 powder or ground your own 南杏仁 (apricot kernel). In U.S. almond粉 is call almond flour or almond meal.
