- Some passengers at a bus stand noticed that the driver of the Kadamba bus was drunk. The bus was traveling from Patradevi to Pernem and had halted at the Pernem Bus Stand. Passengers questioned the driver who appeared tipsy as he was speaking nonsense. The people around questioned the bus conductor, who mentioned about being unaware of his condition. However, this was not spotted by passengers who were traveling by the bus at the start of the journey. People feel that the lives of passengers have been saved, though this questions the credibility of Kadama Transport Corporation.

Driver’s license should be cancelled at the same movement by the RTO Department and he should be Terminated from Service with Immediate Effect. Facilities like PF/Gratuity/ Esic should be Forefitted
