Nice one stu, looking forward to using this rig over the shallow reef at Brighton undercliff, snag central, maybe size1hooks,and some extra pop ups on the line for extra floatation.thanks stu.
Another really informative video Stu. When do you find the gar disappear from our shores and I take it the the mackerel, gar and Scad are all sight feeders so not worth going for in coloured water? 👍
Hello Mark, normally the Garfish disappears around the end of Oct , but with the climate these days, god knows. Gar, mackerel, and scad are primarily sight feeders, but I have caught them in darkness.
@@671fishingstuart Would you class night coloured water after a blow on Chesil the same as darkness ref the gar and Scad? This is a match fishing question rather than pleasure. Big match this wk end and I think the lads will struggle to find space with all the reports of codling coming in. 90+ anglers are expected at Abbotsbury/West Bay so may be a struggle. 😬
@markgiles1820 Sorry for late reply. I've been away fishing. For scad at night, I use lumi small pop ups on the snoods. If the water has a little bit of colour its worth a go, if the water is dirty I wouldn't bother as the fish won't see the bait and will be feeding on scent rather than sight.Hope this helps
Cheers mate.
Thanks Carl 👍

Hello William, I've used white pop-ups in the pasted which worked well on the rig. Let me know how you get on 👍
