Verity really messed me up hahaha! I can't wait to hear your experience. Circe is in my TBR but Song of Achilles had my heart it its grip 😭😭and its probably the most romantic story I've read. Definitely read it when you get a chance, you don't need to know much of mythology.

I love Barnes & Noble. Unfortunately they closed the one that was closest to my house and I was so disappointed. I loved looking around and finding books, games (scrabble), and also eventually found that they have an art/journal section too. Then I was really obsessed 😂. All your books look interesting however, the one that caught my attention was Lock Every Door

I miss book shopping but all of those are at the library so I don't spend money on books anymore. I always wanted a big library. But life didn't work out the way I wanted.

The summer I turned pretty book series in my opinion is brilliant ✨ it’s mainly based in the summer and has flashbacks of the past ♥️ there’s love, heartbreak, a tragic lost and the characters having to grow up and become adults. I hope this helps and I hope you give the books a try 😊

I read Six Crimson Cranes earlier this year and I absolutely LOVE the story! It's my favorite novel of the year so far. Highly recommend! As for The Summer I Turned Pretty, I would not recommend. It' was too YA and full of teen drama. But that's just me.

I think you’d actually like Beach Read better than People we Meet on Vacation by Ms. Emily Henry -- I say that as I haven’t read People we Meet on Vacation hahaha Beach Read has a good amount of tragedy for BOTH main characters and seeing them deal with that part of their lives while they also get closer feels realistic The blurb on the book doesn’t cover any of that but that’s basically the whole story two people - messed up things happening - it affects their work - they challenge each other (a 4/5 stars for me)

Also… I read 2/3 of the summer I turned pretty series. I’m 23 years old and it does seem a little childish because they are in high school 😅 I liked the first one better than the second and just haven’t been able to finish the third book in the series

@ I haven't read it myself, but I've heard mostly that it didn't age very well. The characters are very immature and very flat, there's not a lot of growth, and the romance is pretty vapid. But of course that's just some people's opinion, some other people might really like them :)
Verity is not a romance book I don't understand why it is marketed as a romantic thriller :) I mean there is romance in there but it is not the main plot. I am not a romance reader and I hated the romance in this book but the thriller part kept me reading. Look for the trigger warnings because it is a really disturbing book. Hope you enjoy reading all the books you bought ✨
