the Iowa I-80 truck stop is the largest in the world. its like walking into a mall. I would build the Farlane . no cage . just go have fun running 12s . I will try to have my 99 Fbody done for next year. maybe. probably 2 years.
Wow! I couldn't imagine anything bigger than the Buck-ee's, so many endless isles of random stuff. That's a really cool idea, my friend Todd that I went on the trip with is in full agreeance with your outlook. He wants to do it with his '75 C-10 and just run 12's all week and hopefully not have to work on it the whole time. We honestly had the most fun just cruising with the other cars, otherwise watching burnouts and talking to awesome people was awesome too.
@@keefershotrodshop just being there is the best part, one and done at each track and then enjoying the show and people. I can't complete with the guys that are there to win there class. So go in expecting to have a good time.
Well, I happen to know that you have a certain C-10 Work truck with a certain big block that is bigger than any motor Cadillac ever built, a nice TH400 and some Caltracks keeping that 9" from wrapping up, but I agree, probably should start on building an entire other project! :-D The Cutlass is a good choice, it will be super neat, I have a lot of parts, and it should be plenty to handle with that blown big block...
Also been giving thought to the 54 Ford Crew Cab Sedan.... ..already has a cool gauge panel.... ...plenty of room for a big block and power adders too....

@@metalworksmachineshop 100%! Definitely the best way to go about it. Most Fun Wins.
Definitely the '50 Chevy. Or the '77 Blazer. Oh! YOU ... well the Cutlass, naturally. It's already inside the shop.
